It is with a sad feeling we heard the news of Dale Bouma Trucking ceasing operations.
Dale gave us our start with him 20 years.ago. From Pumus to Potash we ran the I-15 corridor from Utah into Canada and back. Pumus loaded out of Malad, Idaho and usually froze in your trailer by the time we delivered at the outskirts of Calgary. Potash got your attention when you hauled it from Vade, Saskatchewan across the Border. It is slightly radioactive and would make the sensors go off at the border. We have hauled road salt back to MDOT from.the shores of the Great Salt Lake, Malt Barley to Budweiser in Colorado, DDGs to the huge Diaries in Idaho to name a few. Running into Canada was a favorite and left us with an great impression of our neighbor to the.north. From Mundare, Alberta ( the sausage capital of Alberta) to Vulcan ( with the best A&W restaurant and model Enterprise space ship in the town square)We bought our truck from you and she is still going strong. The.people we have met. Jaimie from Highway through Hell on the Weather Channel in Shelby. Very nice man. Dales other drivers...Larry we will forever miss you 😢. Roger..you old character. Spent many a night waiting to load at Mallad the next morning. Carl, Jerry, Nathan, Russ, Keeber. All pulling those doubles up and down the highway.
Best of luck in your new adventure Dale Bouma, whatever it may be. Start a Bowling Alley in Lincoln, it could sure use one.
Thank you for everything....
