Thank you to everyone who came out to the final round of the John W. Davis Appellate Advocacy Competition!

We could not have been prouder of our oral advocacy finalists, Ali Fazal, Martin Flores, Kendall Groza, and Jack Perryman for masterfully arguing in front of an esteemed panel of judges.

We are also want to recognize our five brief writing finalists on their incredible accomplishment: David Corasaniti, Ali Fazal & Martin Flores, Kendall Groza and Bryce Thornburg.

Oral Advocacy:
Winner: Jack Perryman
Runner Up: Martin Flores

Brief Writing:
Winner: David Corasaniti
Runner Up: Ali Fazal & Martin Flores

Please join us for the John W. Davis Moot Court Competition FINALS this Friday! There will be a reception at 5:30, and the event will begin at 6.

First Round:

Jack Perryman, for the petitioner Robert Anthony v. Kendall Groza for the respondent, the United States.

Second Round:

Martin Flores, for the petitioner Robert Anthony v. Ali Fazal for the respondent, the United States.

Join us in the Moot Court Room TOMORROW from 3-7 PM for the John W. Davis Moot Court Semifinals ✨You can also join virtually via Zoom.

Watch as 8 talented advocates argue the case of Anthony v. United States before an esteemed panel of judges, including Professors Belmont, Edobor and Shapiro!

Each round will begin at the top of the hour. If you are coming during a later time, please wait to enter until you have seen the advocates from the previous round exit the Moot Court room.
