We are very grateful for Keith and his service!

Meet one of Careflight's pilots! Pilot Keith Temple is a veteran of our program and of the US Army. Keith flew Blackhawks and Hueys while on active duty and is currently in his fourteenth year of service for Careflight, for a combined total of 36 years of flight! His expertise and tenure enhances Careflight's safety and speed to reach definitive care. Thank you, Keith- for serving our country and our local community!

✈️ I68 → WCA: A Safer, More Recognizable Identifier

Warren County Airport is preparing a request to the FAA to change our airport identifier from I68 to WCA.

Why the change? Safety and clarity.

Several airports in our region have very similar identifiers, including I66, I67, and I69. Similar identifiers can create unnecessary opportunities for confusion when pilots are flight planning, entering destinations into GPS and avionics, or using electronic flight bags.

Changing to WCA would:

✈️ Reduce confusion with similar airport identifiers
📍 Make Warren County Airport easier to recognize and identify
🧭 Improve clarity during flight planning and navigation
⚠️ Help reduce opportunities for human error
📈 Support the continued growth of our airport

As Warren County Airport continues to grow, we believe WCA provides a distinctive identifier that better represents our airport while supporting safe and efficient aviation operations.

Seeing two CareFlight medical helicopters on the ramp isn’t something that happens every day. We’re proud to be the home base for CareFlight and grateful for the crews who are ready to respond whenever they’re needed.

Thanks to all of the pilots, flight nurses, flight paramedics, mechanics, and support staff for what you do every day.

The Warren County Airport Jet Center is looking for a Part-Time Line Service Technician to join our team.

If you enjoy aviation, take pride in providing exceptional customer service, and thrive in a fast-paced outdoor environment, we'd love to hear from you.

Position Details:
• Part-time (13–30 hours per week)
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Weekend availability is required
• Previous line service experience is preferred

As a member of our line service team, you'll assist with:

Aircraft fueling
Aircraft marshaling and towing
Hangaring aircraft
Customer service
General FBO operations
Maintaining a safe, clean, and professional facility

We're looking for someone who is dependable, safety-focused, hardworking, and committed to providing exceptional service to our customers.
