🍀 OF COURSE we celebrate St. Patrick's Day at Cloverleaf Carriage! There is Irish in the family and our carriage girl is a true ginger and it's the Year of the Fire Horse! I've heard the 3-leafed shamrocks were used to represent the Holy Trinity and also to represent hope, faith, and love and the "rare" times they have a fourth leaf, it's considered "lucky"! So we celebrate hope, faith, love, and a lot of luck here at Cloverleaf! Happy St. Patrick's Day from the girls in the nerd her and their human "Hay girl!" 🍀🐴❤💚

🍀Dinner chow in the twilight. It took 2 days to prep the girls a space to stay out of the Artic blast. There's only about 30 minutes of light left in the day after non-horse jobs are finished to get evening chores done. It took 150 minutes to get them home and settled - would probably have been faster to ride or drive them from pasture to pasture instead of hooking up the trailer, moving them and unhooking from the trailer! Farm life! A picture when we were done for the day would have been a black canvas! They are enjoying their feed and have a full hay ring - life is good! 🍀🐴❤

🍀 So the hay ring is full, ready for the next wave of weather. The girls love the square bales they get with their meals and this way they have hay available all the time. Of course it will be up to the 70s by the weekend! So we are ready for the next temp drop and they have hay all the time! Stay warm everyone! 🍀🐴❤
