Please think twice before adding stickers on your car or posting pictures of s*x offenders in your neighborhood!

1) The car photo...I never thought about this before. After seeing this picture, I see people all the time with these types of stickers on their car! Please think twice before putting these kinds of stickers on your car! You are giving out more info than you think!

2) I have seen a TON of people posting maps of the registered s*x offenders in their area. While it is great to bring awareness to this tool.....it literally shows where your house is on the map (if you put in your home address)! Trust me you do not want your entire social network to know where you live! DID you know, all pictures posted to FB are downloadable - meaning they can be shared with more people than just your friends! (No that is not my house, just a random point in my local area)

Start spreading the news... 🎼🗽
We are excited to announce that effective immediately, Damsel in Defense will be able to sell and ship stun guns to customers in the state of New York. Below is the chain of events which is allowed up to open the sale of stun guns in NY.
In March of this year, a federal judge ruled that NY’s ban on stun guns was unconstitutional but also ruled that some regulation could be imposed. Then in May of this year, a new law went into effect in NY that still contained a 100% prohibition on the possession of stun guns. This law had been in NY’s congress before the federal judge ruled it unconstitutional. Right after the judge’s ruling, a new bill was introduced into the NY Senate. That bill (S4849 is currently in committee) removes the ban on the possession of stun guns, but imposes restrictions. So even though stun guns are now legal in NY based on the judge’s ruling, the state nevertheless does not like them and is seeking to strictly regulate their sale and possession. Therefore since bill S4849 has not yet passed, stun guns are legal in NY and there are no limits on their sale or purchase, but that can change once the bill is passed.
