Selling your product online, & getting what YOU want delivered to your door as a customer is the new way of shopping. Even the United States Postal Service is going to deliver packages on Sunday!
The United States Postal Service has made a surprising announcement that will leave many online sellers pinching them self in disbelief. On Saturday in an MSNBC interview, Postmaster General Patrick Donahoe exposed the USPS would soon start delivering packages on Sundays.
“In some areas, we’ll be delivering packages on Sunday starting soon, so that’s a big innovation,” he said. When asked when that would happen, he declined to provide details, saying, “It’s going to happen soon. I’m not telling you anything else. Just watch for your letter carrier in your neighborhood.”
Just last week, the USPS made a move to cut delivery to 5-days with only packages being delivered on Saturdays. The United States Postal Service is actively seeking new and improved ways to shrink their growing budget deficit which reached record highs in 2012 at $15.9 billion. “We’ve heard customers loud and clear,” Donahue said in the exclusive interview on Saturday.
