My latest app was just released on the App Store! XWindCalc allows you to quickly compute the head and cross wind by either dragging a line across a "wind arc" or by entering in values for total wind and angle off the nose.

TSM Calc is now available on the App store. It builds on TASCalc by calculating the "Time Safety Margin" of aircraft diving maneuvers. It currently only handles dives starting at 1g.

Also keep you eyes out for a cross wind calculator currently in development.

Just added a toggle to TASCalc to allow users to use meters instead of feet for altitude and km/hr instead of knots for airspeed. Update is ver 1.4 and expect it on the app store in about a week. If you've already purchase TASCalc, it's a free upgrade!

V1.3 of TAS Calc is now on the app store! It includes more information such as KEAS and KCAS, if you entered Mach and Altitude, and KEAS and Mach if you've entered KCAS and Altitude. Also included are the temperature, pressure and density ratios on a flipside view!

Version 1.2 of TasCalc is now on the app store! Now included is the ability to compute true airspeed given Alt and KCAS (knots calibrated airspeed). Free for those who've already purchased the app. Only $0.99 if you haven't.

Version 1.3 is in work and will display more such as KEAS, KCAS, and Mach in addition to the temperature, pressure, and density ratios (theta, delta, & sigma) given you input conditions!

Version 1.1 of TASCalc is FINALLY released! Check it out on the iTunes app store. It sould now run on iPad, iPhone, and iTouch. Please give me feedback if it works since I don't have an iPad to test it on.

Version 1.2 is in work will include the ability to compute the true airspeed based on altitude and KCAS.

Version 1.1 of TASCalc is on the way. Hopefully available on the app store in the next week. Big changes include:

* Compiled to be compatible with the iPad
(let me know ASAP if your iPhone versions stop working!)
* more metric information
* temperature and true airspeed calculations expanded to 282,144 feet!!

Behind the scenes also fixed a few small memory leaks I found in version 1.0

Our first iPhone application has been approved and is now listed on the itunes app store! Check it out, it's called TASCalc and it calculates true airspeed for you based on altitude and Mach.
