After some more wonderful meetings and educational sessions, I was honored to attend the ASTA Advocacy Dinner as a guest of ALG Vacations. We enjoyed a delicious dinner and wonderful entertainment at the beautiful Hotel Del Coronado. Thanks to ASTA, Nest and ALG Vacations for a wonderful evening and an amazing conference. Our 2nd day at the ASTA Conference started with a Fun Run to benefit the ASTAPAC. We had some amazing educational sessions, enjoyed lunch with a top supplier and ended the evening with an amazing event hosted by Marriott Bonvoy. These events are great opportunities for us to meet with suppliers and learn new things to benefit our clients.

Wow... it seems like just yesterday that I walked into a small agency called Dynamic Travel to start my career as a travel agent in 2001. I had just "graduated" from a travel agency school and knew just enough to be dangerous. I had the help of some amazing mentors including Donna and Amber Oliver, Joannie Genne and many more. We were bought out by TravelPlex within the year and I continued a 10 year journey with those amazing people.
Fast forward to 2011 and I began an adventure I couldn't have possibly imagined by creating The Travel Gals. Now 25 years later, I look back on my many co-workers, clients, fellow travel advisors and supplier friends with much love and respect. I look back at all the many adventures I have had to places like Ireland, Germany, Norway, Alaska, Hawaii, and over 100 trips to Mexico and throughout the Caribbean. I have cruised most of the popular cruise lines, cruised the rivers of Europe and visited so many places that make my heart happy. I have taken my children and loved ones on amazing trips, seen all 50 states, and sky dived over Cape Cod. I can't even begin to count the people who have influenced this journey, but if you have ever worked with me, joined my agency or training program, booked a trip with me, met me on a FAM or supported the last 25 years in any way, I want to thank you.
This career is more than just a job, and although it has some amazing perks, the joy of helping people plan amazing journeys and adventures of their own is what keeps me going after so many years. "Designing Life's Unforgettable Moments" is not just our tag line, but also my goal with every client I have worked with over the past 25 years.
Thank you to my husband and children who have endured many days and weeks without me over the years. Thank you for your support of my passion and for your unwavering love that keeps me going. Thank you to my Travel Gals who drive me to succeed and keep me going when things get tough. Thank you to my clients who have supported me over these many years and continue to do so every day. I am very blessed to do what I love and love what I do. May we all be so lucky! ❤

Our final day at sea yesterday, we made two stops on the island of Brač. Here we discovered the cats of Croatia and took a walk down a beautiful promenade to check out some local beach clubs!

Today we explored the sunniest and largest island of Croatia. It wasn’t sunny for us unfortunately, but we took a long upward climb to enjoy some gorgeous views. Now to a delicious dinner!
