🚛✨ COMMUNITY IMPACT IN ACTION ✨🚛
Yesterday, the African American Women Trucking Association (AAWTA) was honored to participate in the Georgia Department of Community Supervision Community Resource Fair from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
We had the opportunity to connect with individuals seeking second-chance opportunities, reentry support, workforce development resources, and career pathways in trucking, logistics, transportation, and supply chain. Conversations like these remind us why our mission is so important—creating access, education, and opportunities for those ready to build a brighter future.
A special thank you to Nicole Tanner and the Georgia Department of Community Supervision for hosting this impactful event and for their commitment to connecting individuals with valuable community resources and workforce opportunities.
We would also like to recognize Sherri Carr and Nicole Ward for proudly representing AAWTA, sharing resources, building relationships, and helping attendees learn more about career training, entrepreneurship, workforce development, and industry opportunities.
At AAWTA, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to succeed, regardless of where their journey began. Together, we continue to drive change, create pathways, and empower communities.
