This might be a hot take, but 95% of the time I do NOT make dining reservations at Animal Kingdom 👀

And it’s because the Quick Service options there are some of my favorite options on property! 😍

Satu’li Canteen is one of those options - I LOVE their build-a-bowl options! Give me the chicken & shrimp every time 👏🏻

Flame Tree BBQ and the Yak & Yeti Local Foods Cafe are also pretty high on my list! Also gotta get some fries from Mr Kamal’s… honestly my food to-do list at Animal Kingdom is as long as my attraction to-do list 😅

Never feel like you NEED dining reservations every single day - there are great options at Quick Service restaurants too! 🤩

Should you upgrade to a Savanna View room at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge? 🤔

My answer is… maybe! 🤣

There’s really no one-size-fits-all Disney vacation - but here is who I think SHOULD consider upgrading to a Savanna View room! ⬇️

🦒 If the animals are one of the primary reasons for the trip - no brainer!

😌 If your itinerary is more laid back and you expect to spend a good chunk of time at your resort

👶🏻 Families traveling with nap-aged kids - there’s nothing like sitting on your balcony watching the giraffes while your little one sleeps!

☕️ If you’re a family that plans to take mornings slow at the resort - drink your coffee with a view!

These rooms truly are a destination in themselves so you want to make sure you give the resort the time that it deserves! 😍

We can start booking the inaugural season sailings for Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, the Disney Believe TODAY! 👀

🌊 October 13th - Platinum Castaway Club Members
⭐️ October 14th - Gold Castaway Club Members
🩶 October 15th - Silver Castaway Club, DVC Members and Adventures by Disney Insiders
👥 October 19th - General Public Bookings Begin

🗓️ The Disney Believe’s Inaugural sailing will be December 18th, 2027 but this itinerary drop includes sailings through May of 2028!

This is a new grab-and-go location by the team at Gideon’s - so you know the theming is on point! ⚰️

You can grab hand pies here, called coffyns, that are perfect for munching on as you walk around! These are savory hand pies that will rotate flavors periodically so the options will stay fresh! 👀

One of my favorite details in the Ministry of Magic section of Epic Universe is right here at Le Cirque Arcanus 👀

This seemingly small circus tent sits in the middle of the city street but once you enter you realize you’re in a HUGE theater - which is a great callback to the tents in the series used during the Quidditch World Cup and during the book 7 horcrux hunting expedition. And there’s nothing I love more than an unassuming callback to the book series 😍

The show itself is really interesting *although* I think it may feel a little bit creepy to some kids - so if you have a child who is a little more prone to being creeped out, let’s talk about it before your trip! ⚡️

One of my favorite parts of a Disney Cruise is how easy it is to meet characters 😍

You’ll see all of the character greetings in the Navigator app (and there are a TON of them!) with the greeting times - I always try to arrive at least 15 minutes before the official start time ⏰

With that 15 minute head start we’re usually just a few groups back from the front of the line - so wait time is minimal! 🎉

The scheduled character greetings are aplenty, but keep your eyes out for spontaneous characters too! We’ve played hide-and-seek with Chip and Dale in the hallways, rode the elevator with Donald (he pushed the button for every floor 🤣), popped out of the elevator to find Minnie waiting for us and twirled with Cinderella in the hallway 👀

These spontaneous meetings are often the most memorable because it’s a different experience than a quick photo and we love it! ❤️

If you’re a big character fan, you have GOT to get on a Disney ship - you’ll love it too! 😉

Did you know you can go fishing in Bay Lake?! 👀

Yep - you sure can! 😱

There are actually SEVERAL fishing excursions available around Walt Disney World - they all include an experienced fishing guide, your rod and reel, tackle, bait along with non-alcoholic refreshments 🎣

There are tons of things to do outside the parks - even your rest days can be full, if you want them to be 😉
