❓ Disney FAQ Tuesday ❓

One important note: Park Hoppers are added for the full duration of your ticket; they can’t be purchased for a single day.

If it’s your first trip to Walt Disney World, I highly recommend skipping Park Hoppers and sticking to one park per day.

This gives you the time you actually need to explore each park without feeling rushed or overwhelmed.

A lot of first-time visitors add Park Hoppers thinking they’ll use them often, but many end up not using them.

That turns into an extra expense that could be used elsewhere, like dining, Memory Maker, or other vacation extlras that truly enhance your trip.

One important note: Park Hoppers are added for the full length of your ticket; they can’t be purchased for just one day.

For most first visits, one park per day allows you to:
✨ enjoy attractions at a relaxed pace
✨ experience shows, parades, and fireworks
✨ take breaks without stress
✨ truly enjoy each park instead of rushing between them

Park Hopping is great, but not necessary for everyone, especially on your first visit.

✨ Have you done Disney with Park Hoppers or without?

🏰 Resort Breakdown Monday 🏰

✨ Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter ✨

This is one of Disney’s smallest Moderate resorts, and honestly, one of its most underrated.

If you love the idea of staying somewhere that feels peaceful, easy to navigate, and full of charm… this might be your spot.

Here’s why families love it:

🎺 Easy boat ride to Disney Springs
🏨 Compact layout (no long walks after a park day!)
🏊 Mardi Gras themed pool with a fun slide
🍽️ Beignets at S**t Cat’s Lounge 😍
🌙 Quiet, relaxing atmosphere compared to larger resorts

It’s simple, charming, and incredibly easy to get around, which makes a BIG difference after long days in the park.

✨ Would you pick a smaller, quieter resort like this, or do you prefer something bigger?

🎢 Travel Truth Thursday 🎢

“Universal is NOT just for thrill seekers.”

This is one of the biggest misconceptions about Universal Orlando.

Yes, the coasters are incredible, but that’s only one part of the experience.

Universal is also:
✨ immersive lands like The Wizarding World of Harry Potter
✨ interactive rides that feel like storytelling adventures
✨ shows, dining, and entertainment for all ages

✨ the characters from Minions to Toothless
✨ resorts with pools, arcades, and family-friendly activities

And with Epic Universe coming into the mix, there’s even more variety for different travel styles, not just adrenaline lovers.

You can absolutely build a Universal trip that fits a more relaxed pace, younger kids, teens, or multi-generational families.

It’s not just thrill rides… It’s full vacation energy.

✨ What’s one thing you didn’t expect to love about Universal?

✨ JUST BOOKED ✨

Congratulations to a very special family who will be spending the holidays at Walt Disney World! 🎄🏰✨

Not only will they be ringing in the New Year in the most magical place on Earth, but this will also be a FIRST Disney visit for one very sweet little princess! 👑💕

This family will be enjoying 6 magical nights at Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter, and if you ask me, this is hands down one of the BEST moderate resorts for families of 4! The smaller, quaint size makes it feel so much more relaxing than some of the larger moderate resorts, and honestly… it gives us Southeastern Louisiana families a little taste of home. ⚜️💙

And of course… we can’t forget those famous Mickey beignets. Yummmm!! 🤤✨

During their stay, they’ll be spending 5 full days in the theme parks with one park planned per day, which is exactly how you maximize your Walt Disney World vacation! Each park has SO much to offer, and allowing yourself the time to fully experience each one truly makes all the difference.

No one will be missing from the memories either because this family added Memory Maker! 📸✨ From iconic castle photos on Main Street to Christmas wreaths glowing at night, Spaceship Earth lit up in festive colors, and Tower of Terror dressed in holiday projections… the photo opportunities during the holidays are absolutely unmatched. Plus, those magical Magic Shots always add even more fun to the memories!

A huge thank you to this sweet family for allowing me to be a part of planning such a special vacation. This trip is going to be filled with unforgettable moments, holiday magic, and core memories that will last a lifetime. 💙

I cannot wait for y’all to hear those two magical words…

✨ “Welcome Home!” ✨

💬Universal FAQ:

Is it still worth booking one of the 3 Signature Universal Resorts for Unlimited Express Pass?

This is one of the biggest questions families are asking right now, and honestly, Universal has made a huge shift in how vacation planning works.

With the ability to now visit Epic Universe multiple days with a 3+ day ticket during your stay, families have more flexibility than ever when planning their park time.

And while the perk of Unlimited Express Pass is still a major benefit when staying at one of the three Signature Resorts, there’s an important detail many people don’t realize…

❗ Those resort Express Pass benefits do NOT include Epic Universe.

That means if Epic is part of your trip, you would still need to purchase a separate Express Pass for that park day, which can take away some of the flexibility families are hoping for when planning their itinerary. Plus, it comes with a large price tag.

Because of that, more families are now looking at a different approach.

There is now another Express option that gives you flexibility across ALL three Universal parks, which can completely change how you plan your days.

This shift has also opened the door to greater freedom in resort choices.

Instead of feeling locked into only Signature Resorts for Express Pass, families can now stay at fun, vibrant, more budget-friendly resorts like Cabana Bay, and still add an Express option that works for their full trip.

So now the question isn’t just “Which resort gives me Express Pass?”

It’s really:
✨ “Which combination of resort + Express option gives my family the most flexibility and value?”

And that’s exactly the kind of planning detail that can make or break how your Universal vacation feels.

✨ Would you choose the Signature Resort for Unlimited Express, or go with more resort flexibility and add Express separately?

✨ Mother Knows Best ✨

I will never do Universal without Express Pass again, and here’s why.

And I mean that in the most honest, learned-it-the-hard-way kind of way.

I’ve actually been pro-Express Pass since Universal started to pick up in business after the pandemic, and there’s a reason for that shift.

That mindset changed real quick after experiencing Universal during a busy day without it.

Because it’s not just about the wait times.

It’s about how the entire day feels.

Instead of constantly standing in long lines and watching the clock, you’re actually:
✨ riding more attractions
✨ moving through the parks at a comfortable pace
✨ having time to enjoy meals and breaks
✨ and not feeling like your whole day is spent waiting

Universal can move FAST, especially on busier days, and Express Pass completely changes the rhythm of your experience.

Now, do you need it every single time? Not always for the two original parks, especially if you’re traveling during slower periods or have a more relaxed pace planned.

But if you’re visiting Epic Universe and want to get the most out of your day in the parks, then yes, Express Pass can make a huge difference in how much you’re able to experience.

Express Pass does come at a cost, but the real question is: does it make your vacation smoother and help your family get the most out of their day?

And that’s something I wish more families knew before they go.

✨ Have you ever done Universal with Express Pass, or without it?

🎢 Universal Resort Breakdown Monday 🎢

✨ Cabana Bay Beach Resort ✨

If you’re planning a Universal Orlando trip and trying to decide where to stay, Cabana Bay is one of those resorts that surprises a lot of families, in the best way.

This retro-style resort is fun, budget-friendly, and VERY family-focused, especially if you’re traveling with kids or teens who want space to relax between park days.

Here’s what makes it stand out:

🏖️ Two huge pool areas (including a lazy river!)
🛝 On-site bowling alley + arcade for downtime fun
🍔 Easy, casual dining options right at the resort
🏨 Family suites with extra space (a big win for larger families)
🚶‍♀️ It's own dedicated entrance to Volcano Bay, within walking distance 🌊
🚌 Free shuttle transportation to Universal parks & Epic Universe
🌴 Bright, nostalgic 50s/60s beach vibe that feels like part of the vacation

One of the biggest perks?
You get early park entry benefits like other Universal resorts, which can make a big difference for popular attractions.

Cabana Bay is a great fit if you want:
✔ more space for your family
✔ a fun resort atmosphere without luxury pricing
✔ easy park access without overcomplicating your stay
✔ a place your kids can actually enjoy outside the parks

It’s not a “luxury” resort, and that’s exactly why so many families love it. It keeps things simple, fun, and budget-conscious while still giving you that Universal resort experience.

✨ If you’ve stayed here before, would you go back, or try something different next time?
