Dreaming up designs for the cabin, old school percolator, cozy mornings in scripture, linens on the clothesline, morning view from the camper, cabin fireplace, and my first pickup from my new Azure drop.

We have been meeting neighbors and trying to find a new church. God is definitely teaching us to not only look for Him in familiar ways, it’s a season of so much newness. With that comes a lot of stretching. We (more me) are learning to surrender to it all.

Grateful that we said yes to the uncomfortable so He could meet us here 🤍

We made some progress over the weekend. All of the trash, joint strips and some of the drywall was removed. Trees were cut down and so much was burned.
But the ticks are ruthless when working with trees and high grassy areas. I’ll take all of the tick repellent suggestions you have!

Can’t believe we are here! We have dreamed and prayed for this for close to 15 years 😭

When searching for our home we talked about wanting a beautiful curved driveway, paved roads to our house, being close to a grocery store, rolling hills, and room for our kids to build if they wanted. It has checked all the boxes. God is truly so faithful!

We have a lot of work ahead, but we have never been afraid of work! Chickens have been ordered and fencing is going up soon. We can’t wait to get our animals up here 🤍🤎

We are finding our new rhythm in the mountains. It’s beyond our wildest dreams, but it’s so much more than a dream. We can already see how God will use this space and how He will use us.
A 42 acre homestead with a pond, creek, apple and walnut trees, and so much more we have yet to discover. There is a cabin from the 1930s, along with an old office space that was used as a school house years ago. We plan to renovate them both.
In the mean time, we are living the camper life (we never saw that coming!). Thankfully there are 2 big storage containers on the property to store all of our things!
We cannot wait to get this place up and running for family & friends to visit. Thank you to everyone for the prayers during our move!
