After almost 12 unforgettable years as the Miss Knoxville Volunteer Director, the time has come to close this chapter. The reason for directing has always been the same- the young women. They have always been my why. The mentoring, the relationships and watching each contestant discover her confidence, purpose and potential have been the most rewarding part of this journey!
I have been blessed to witness so many young women grow into strong, confident, compassionate and accomplished leaders. Seeing them achieve their goals both on and off the stage has been a privilege I will always cherish. To every contestant who has participated in our program and every titleholder who has represented us, our Knoxville team has been richly blessed.
To our volunteers, board members, judges, sponsors, families and loyal supporters- thank you for believing in our mission and helping make the Miss Knoxville Volunteer program what it is today! Your support has made all the difference.
As I step away, I do so with a grateful heart and immense pride in all that we have accomplished together! I can’t wait to see what the future holds for the next generation of remarkable young women. There will not be a Miss Knoxville Volunteer prelim on August 22nd but we will share the new date once it is available. Thank you for 12 amazing years! It has truly been the honor of a lifetime!
