The third chapter of my recent travel adventure… and the reason we planned the trip in the first place! ⚽️❤️ Liverpool F.C.

After exploring Normandy and spending time in Paris, we headed north to Liverpool for an unforgettable experience that had been on the calendar from the very beginning.

The chance to experience the final match of the season together made this trip extra special. We enjoyed a hospitality package with excellent seats and the unforgettable experience of being part of the excitement and atmosphere of match day in Liverpool.

This trip was the perfect reminder that travel isn’t just about where you go. It’s about who you share it with and the moments you’ll talk about for years to come. ✈️🌍

🇫🇷✨ Part 2 of my most recent trip: Paris!

After an amazing few days exploring Normandy, we headed to Paris. It had been WAY too long since the last time I was there! I'm already planning a trip back as soon as possible.

We met up with more dear friends and spent our days doing what Paris does best: wandering beautiful neighborhoods, discovering art, enjoying incredible food, and making memories.

We explored the charming streets of Le Marais, admired the beauty of Notre Dame, stood on Point Zéro, and of course made a stop at Berthillon ice cream because no Paris trip is complete without it. 🍦

We filled our days with some of the world’s most inspiring art and history:
✨ Musée d'Orsay
✨ Musée Rodin
✨ Louvre Museum
✨ Montmartre

Trips like this are such a reminder of why I love travel . It’s not just about the places we see, but the people we share them with and the memories we bring home.

Paris, I will be back soon!

Travel Tip Tuesday:
One of the biggest mistakes travelers make with all-inclusives is assuming they all work the same way.

The truth is, “all-inclusive” does not always mean every single thing is included — and what’s covered can vary a lot from one resort to another.

A few things that may or may not be included depending on the property:
✨ airport transfers
✨ premium restaurants
✨ top-shelf liquor
✨ room service
✨ excursions or activities
✨ spa treatments
✨ golf
✨ tips or added service charges

That doesn’t mean an all-inclusive isn’t a great fit. It just means it’s worth asking better questions before you book.

A smart way to look at it:
Don’t just ask, “Is it all-inclusive?”
Ask, “What is included at this resort?”

That one question can save you from surprise charges, mismatched expectations, and that frustrating feeling of thinking you booked one kind of trip… and getting another.

I'm back from a wonderful trip with friends to France, England, and Scotland.

After we landed in Paris, we picked up our rental car and drove to Giverny to visit Claude Monet’s home and gardens. I had forgotten how beautiful the gardens are!

While in Normandy, we stayed in Honfleur, a picturesque harbor town, as our home base. We did little day trips from there and spent our time exploring the amazing world of Calvados! Normandy’s apple orchards and centuries-old traditions make this such a unique part of the region. We had the chance to visit:
✨ Domaine Drouin
✨ Château du Breuil
✨ Père Jules
✨ Roger Groult
✨ Domaine Dupont
✨ Père Magloire

After Normandy, it was on to Paris for a few days with friends, but those first days in the French countryside were truly special.

One of the best parts of being a travel advisor is experiencing these places firsthand to bring back the details, discoveries, and little moments that help me create unforgettable trips for my clients.

Travel Tip Tuesday:
If you’re traveling during hurricane season, the best tip isn’t to panic — it’s to plan with a little extra flexibility 🌴

Most trips go just fine, but this is one season where having a backup-plan mindset really matters.

A few smart ways to do that:

✨ Choose flights and resorts carefully
If possible, look for options with better change policies or more flexibility.

✨ Consider travel protection
A good travel protection plan can be worth its weight in gold during hurricane season. It’s one of those things you hope you never need… but you’re glad to have if plans shift.

✨ Avoid planning too tightly
If every detail of the trip depends on perfect timing, it can create more stress. A little breathing room helps.

✨ Know your cancellation and change terms
Before you travel, make sure you understand what’s refundable, what’s transferable, and what happens if weather causes delays or changes.

✨ Have a quick backup idea in mind
That could mean a different flight option, a later travel day, or even a flexible mindset about how the trip unfolds.

✨ Watch the forecast
It’s good to stay informed — but not every storm affects every destination the same way.

✨ Work with a travel advisor
One of the biggest benefits of using a travel advisor during hurricane season is having someone help you sort through options if things change.

Travel Tip Tuesday:
Learn one local etiquette tip before you go.

You don’t have to be an expert in another culture to be a respectful traveler. But taking 5 minutes to learn one local norm can make your trip feel smoother — and help you connect with people in a more meaningful way.

A few examples of what I mean:
greetings (handshakes, bows, cheek kisses)
shoes on/off in homes or certain spaces
tipping expectations (or when tipping is not expected)
dress guidelines for religious sites
dining basics (sharing plates, quiet voices, pace of meals)

The goal isn’t perfection — it’s awareness.

(And if your answer is basically “I need a vacation,” tell me your vibe and I’ll reply with a destination idea.)
