🌞📚✨ Day 2 (Part 1) ✨📚🌞

What a FUN-tastic day! Today our campers had the opportunity to visit the Kissimmee Library’s Foam Palooza Party, where they laughed, played, made new friends, and enjoyed an unforgettable foam-filled adventure! 🫧🎉

But the fun didn’t stop there! We also explored the library and gave our campers the opportunity to choose books to enjoy throughout the summer. 📖❤️

Reading during the summer helps children strengthen their vocabulary, improve comprehension skills, spark creativity, and keep their minds active while school is out. Most importantly, it teaches them that learning can be exciting and fun!

Socializing with other children is just as important. Through group activities, campers learn communication skills, teamwork, confidence, and how to build meaningful friendships that can last a lifetime. 🤝🌟

The The Salvation Army of Osceola County is helping families prepare for summer by providing grocery bags to registered children while supplies last.

🌱💚 More Than Just a Plant 💚🌱

At Oasis Summer Camp, each camper planted a seed and gave their plant a special name. From that moment on, they became responsible for caring for it every day by watering it and helping it grow.

But the lesson goes beyond gardening.

Our campers are learning responsibility, commitment, patience, and accountability. They are discovering that living things need daily care and attention to thrive.

If a camper is absent, they must choose a trusted friend to take over their plant’s care for the day. This teaches teamwork, trust, leadership, and the importance of following through on responsibilities.

Just like their plants, our campers are growing too—one day, one lesson, and one act of kindness at a time. 🌱☀️

☀️🎉 DAY 1 at Oasis Summer Camp 2026 was a HUGE success! 🎉☀️

What an amazing way to kick off the summer! Today our campers got creative by planting their very own plants 🌱, splashed around at our pool party 💦, enjoyed fun at the park 🛝, and made new friends along the way.

The smiles, laughter, and excitement were nonstop from start to finish! 😎✨

The best part? We heard campers saying, “This is the BEST summer camp ever!” ❤️

We can’t wait to see what adventures tomorrow brings. Summer has officially started, and we’re making memories that will last a lifetime! ☀️🌈

Today our campers became little gardeners! 🧑‍🌾👩‍🌾 They planted their very own plants and learned why taking care of nature is so important.
