Most gifts have an expiration date.

The toy eventually breaks.
The clothes are outgrown.
The latest gadget is replaced by a newer one.

But more than 20 years ago, I gave my nephew a gift that somehow grew more valuable with time.

I gave him a trip.

I wanted the surprise to feel as special as the adventure itself, so I bought wooden blocks and painted them by hand. On Christmas, he had to arrange the blocks correctly to uncover the destination.

I can still remember watching him work through the puzzle—and the excitement on his face when he finally realized what his gift truly was.

He wasn’t opening another possession.

He was discovering that we were going somewhere together.

More than two decades have passed since that Christmas. My little nephew is now an adult, yet he still tells people that trip was the best gift he has ever received.

Not the best gift he received that year.

The best gift he has ever received.

That is the power of giving travel.

You aren’t simply giving someone a destination. You are giving them anticipation. Discovery. Laughter. Connection. Time with the people they love—and a story that becomes part of who they are.

Long after the wrapping paper is gone, the experience remains.

They remember how it felt to learn they were going. They remember the things they saw, the laughter they shared and the moments that could never have fit inside a box.

And sometimes, if you are very lucky, you discover 20 years later that the gift you gave them became one of the memories they treasure most.

So, when the next birthday, anniversary, graduation, Christmas or milestone arrives, consider giving something that will never be outgrown, outdated or forgotten.

Give them somewhere to go.

Give them someone to share it with.

Give them a story they will still be telling decades from now.

Give the gift of travel—because the most meaningful presents aren’t always things we keep.

Sometimes, they are moments we carry with us forever.

🚨 **A VERY REAL MESSAGE FROM YOUR FAVORITE TRAVEL AGENT** 🚨

For the first time since I was **16 years old**, I am no longer receiving a predictable weekly or biweekly paycheck.

And I’m going to be completely honest: now that this fact has fully registered with my nervous system, I may be freaking out just a teeny-tiny bit. 😂

I absolutely have travel business **in flight**—pun enthusiastically intended—but travel commissions arrive on their own sweet little schedule. Apparently, mortgage companies and utility providers remain weirdly committed to theirs.

So this is not me begging. This is me engaging in **proactive business development with a light dusting of financial anxiety.** 😎

If you’ve been thinking about taking a trip, NOW would be a fabulous time to send it my way!

🏖️ Vacations and getaways
✈️ Business travel
🏆 Employee incentive and reward trips
💍 Honeymoons and destination weddings
👯 Group trips
🎁 Travel given as a gift
🏨 Hotel-only stays
🌍 Pretty much anything that involves leaving home and sleeping somewhere else

And if you aren’t traveling right now, referrals are absolute GOLD. Please send your friends, family, coworkers, clients, neighbors, mail carrier, favorite bartender—or anyone else who needs a vacation—to Brandi B Travel.

You’ll be helping a small business owner continue chasing her dream, keeping me busy and sane, and possibly preventing me from waking up at 3:00 a.m. to calculate future commissions on my phone.

**Pay. Pack. Play. That’s the Brandi B Travel way.**

What do you picture when you hear the words luxury travel?

Private jets? Overwater villas? A butler named Sebastian appearing with champagne before you even realize you are thirsty?

If you’re like me—and most people—you probably also see enormous dollar signs and a bank account laughing hysterically at your audacity.

But here is what I’ve learned:

I do not have tens—or hundreds—of thousands of dollars to spend on vacations. Yet I absolutely travel in what I consider luxury.

Because luxury, to me, is not necessarily about extravagance. It is about freedom.

It is intentionally unplugging from the constant noise, demands and notifications of everyday life.

It is letting my body rest before it stages a formal rebellion.

It is sitting beside the water for hours without feeling like I should be doing something more “productive.”

It is eating when I’m hungry, sleeping when I’m tired and choosing exactly what feels restorative—without apologizing, explaining or worrying whether anyone else thinks I’m vacationing correctly.

Sometimes, luxury means taking a solo vacation and answering to absolutely no one but my own whims and desires. No negotiating plans. No coordinating schedules. No pretending I want to leave the pool because somebody else suddenly feels adventurous.

Other times, luxury is spending peaceful, uninterrupted time with the people who matter most to me—away from the obligations and distractions that too often compete for our attention at home.

Sometimes luxury is a gorgeous resort and a frozen drink delivered directly to my hand.

Sometimes it is a quiet room, an unhurried morning and the radical realization that nobody needs anything from me.

Real luxury is having the time, space and permission to become yourself again—or to reconnect with the people you love without the rest of the world constantly interrupting.

And the beautiful thing is that luxury does not have one official price tag. It does not look the same for everyone, and it should not.

So now I want to know:
What does luxury travel look like to you?

I did a thing.

An exciting thing. A scary thing. A life-changing thing.

I let go of the steady paycheck from the corporate job. I let go of the corporate job altogether. No more two full-time jobs, no more squeezing this business into the cracks of my calendar.

Brandi B Travel is now my one and only job.

Full-time. Full-throttle. Full heart.

I'm not going to pretend this isn't terrifying, because it absolutely is. There's no cushion catching the landing anymore. It's just me, my laptop, and a whole lot of belief that the thing I've built is worth betting on.

But here's what I know for sure: I am DAMN good at this. I know how to build you a trip you'll talk about for years. I know how to catch the closed-on-Wednesdays restaurant before it ruins your vacation. I know how to make "adult-only all-inclusive" sound like the permission slip you've been waiting for.

So here's my ask, and I'm not going to be cute about it: if you've been "meaning to" book with me — now's the time. Send a friend my way. Tag someone planning a trip. Share this post. Every referral matters more today than it did yesterday.

This is the leap. Let's seize it together.

Let's have an honest conversation.

There's a narrative online that using AI tools = lazy, uncreative, "couldn't do it myself." I'd like to respectfully disagree.

I have a journalism degree. Nearly 30 years of project management experience. A PMP certification. I know how to write, organize, and communicate — that's never been the question.

What HAS changed is how I get there. I bring the ideas, the strategy, the "why this matters," and I use every smart tool available to move faster.

Because here's the thing: I would rather spend my energy making sure YOUR itinerary, YOUR resort choice, and YOUR travel experience are perfect and flawless — not perfecting a caption. My clients get the better end of that trade every time.

That's not laziness. That's called running a business like a professional.

AI-assisted content: lazy or smart? Challenge me! Comment below — I read every single one. 👇

I spent yesterday with family and friends, and it reminded me of something I try to carry into every part of my life, including this business.

The relationships that matter most were never built quickly. They were built slowly — through paying attention, showing up, and actually caring about the person in front of you.

That's the standard I hold myself to with every client. Not how fast I can book a trip, but how well I actually know the people I'm planning it for. Their rhythms. Their quirks. What "rest" or "adventure" really means to them.

I don't always get it perfect. But I've never once regretted taking the slower, more personal road.

The truth is, you don't need a holiday to bring your people together. Choose the trip. Gather who you love. And know that I'll be right there with you — just as invested in getting it right as you are.

Me again! Here to remind you of why I could be a VALUEABLE ASSET to you and your vacation! A flawless vacation doesn't begin when you arrive at the airport.

It begins the moment you start dreaming about taking one.
The destination, resort, flights, room selection, transfers, insurance, excursions, dining reservations, and countless tiny details all work together to create the experience you'll remember for years.

That's why the best time to involve a travel advisor isn't after you've already booked half the trip.

It's at the very beginning.

Because exceptional vacations are intentionally designed, not accidentally discovered.

I'm thrilled to announce that Brandi B Travel is officially a member of ASTA — the American Society of Travel Advisors!

ASTA is the world's leading association of travel professionals, and every member pledges to operate under a strict Code of Ethics centered on integrity, accuracy, and accountability to clients.

This isn't a badge I'm slapping on for show. It's a reflection of how I've run this business from day one — with honesty, expertise, and a relentless commitment to getting every detail right, every time.

If you've ever wondered what sets a true travel advisor apart from a search engine, this is it. Real accountability. Real ethics. Real dedication to YOUR vacation.

Grateful doesn't even begin to cover it. Here's to raising the bar — for my clients and for this industry.

Is Summer Going to Control You? Or Will You Take Charge and Control Summer?

Today is the longest day of the year. Six months from now, you'll either be telling stories about the trip you took — or making excuses about the one you didn't.

Every Sunset Is A Reminder: Live Boldly. Live Now.

The sun doesn't wait for "someday." Neither should you.

If 2026 still doesn't have a stamp on it, let's fix that. I plan the trip — you show up and live it.
