Jack Stack Barbecue

Letter Grade: A++ (a tier above all)
Jack Stack is tied for the best barbecue I’ve had in the city (with a restaurant I’ll be posting at a later date).
For starters, the jalapeño cornbread appetizer is a must. I have never had anything like it, warm soft skillet cake like texture with a honey butter topping - phenomenal.
Entrees and Sides -
Beef burnt ends - 2nd best I’ve had in the city. Great texture and char on the ends with juicy and well seasoned beef.
Smokin Russ Sandwich - best BBQ sandwich in the city if you like spicier options.
Beans - Top tier, tasty sauce and blend with meat mixed in.
Cheesy Corn Bake - another unique dish to Jack Stack, phenomenal side
Bonus - the sweet tea here was up there for the best I’ve had. Not just overloaded with sugar like most places, could actually taste the quality of the tea with just enough sweet for taste.
Overall, Jack stack is probably the best place to take family or out of towners for bbq in the city who are looking for a more sit-down oriented experience. Higher end, lots of options on the menu. All options are quality, you don’t find anything bad here ever.
