Happy Labor Day from It Takes 2 Moving Co. 🇺🇸

Today we’re especially grateful for the hardworking people who show up, put in the effort, and keep our communities moving forward — sometimes quite literally. 😉

We’re thankful for our crew, our customers, and the opportunity God has given our family to build a business through hard work, perseverance, and a whole lot of moving boxes.

Whether you’re working today, relaxing with family, or avoiding that one project you promised yourself you’d finish this weekend… we hope you have a safe and restful Labor Day!

From our family and crew to yours — Happy Labor Day!

[REVIEW CONTINUED] “The day of the move his team was on time, professional, incredibly friendly to the entire family, and genuinely made one of the worst activities (moving) as fun as could be. The team was very attentive to all our items, and careful when wrapping, moving, and securing everything in the old and new house.
His prices are also spot on. They’re very fair, and honestly for the level of professionalism and service we received, he could get away charging more. His prices were the best by far.
If you choose It Takes 2 and Mike’s team, you absolutely won’t regret it!”

When a customer says moving was actually fun, we’re calling that a win. 😂

This 6-man crew handled the load AND unload from start to finish… and this review pretty much says it all: on time, professional, friendly, careful with every piece, and ready to work.

And yes… Mike’s “you probably have more stuff than you think” prediction strikes again. Moving math is funny like that. 😅

Thank you, Andrew, for trusting It Takes 2 Moving Co. with your move and for taking the time to leave such an awesome review. We appreciate it more than you know!

Behind every moving crew is someone doing approximately 47 other jobs nobody sees. 😂

One of those daily jobs: labeling, stamping, and getting a stack of postcards ready to head out into the community.

This is one of those behind-the-scenes parts of running a family business that definitely isn’t glamorous, but it matters. And every once in a while, I even get a few very small assistants to help with the assembly line. 😉

So if one of these lands in your mailbox soon, just know it was personally handled by yours truly.

And if moving is somewhere in your future, keep it handy. We’re a local, fully insured labor-only moving company helping families throughout Joliet and the surrounding Chicagoland suburbs.

You handle the truck, POD, or container. We’ll handle the heavy part.

Three PODS. Six Movers. One Cross-Country Move. 📦💪

This week, our 6-man crew spent two days helping a Yorkville family get ready for their cross-country move.

First, we professionally packed their belongings. Then we loaded three PODS, carefully wrapping furniture, maximizing every inch of space, and making sure everything was secure for the long journey ahead.

Moving across the country takes more than muscle—it takes planning, experience, and knowing how to load a container so your belongings arrive safely. That’s exactly what we do.

Need help packing, loading a PODS container, or loading your rental truck? We provide the professional labor, experience, and peace of mind that make moving day a whole lot easier.
