or me. All photos should be a good quality image. I will need to approve the photos prior. All photos are returned with your final portrait work. Contact me for different sizes or special requests. Memorial portraits also. Contact me if you have questions. I can render single portraits for your entire family, business organization, or church community (groups). Updates and progress images are provided to you via the Internet so you can see the stages of your drawing. Custom Portraits are available in black pencil (on high quality paper)9"x12" or 15x20 illustration board For each additional subject or a detailed background, add $25. A 50% deposit will be required to put you into my work schedule and then:
Mail me -- 2 clear jpgs of your subjects.
-- Natural sunlight is preferable to flash.
-- Color or detail preferences. No Black and White photo’s
Once I receive your deposit and photos, I'll e-mail you with an estimated completion time. A commission can take 1--3 weeks to complete. If you need to expedite, please convo me to see if that’s possible. I’ll send you a sketch via e-mail to confirm placement. Then, when finished, I'll e-mail the image to you for approval. Adjustments, if necessary, can be made then. Upon your final approval, the remainder of the balance will be due. Once, I've received the balance, your portrait will ship out within 2-3 business days by USPS First Class. Delivery Confirmation and Insurance are included. For more details, see my Shop Policies:
I will make a high quality digital scan of your original portrait before shipping - Why?
* to keep a record of my work.
* so I can offer you archival digital inkjet prints or cards of your custom portrait to share. Sizes from 5x7 up to 13x20 will be available.
* just in case the unexpected happens, your original image will be saved. A commissioned portrait makes a wonderful gift and treasured for many years. It will make a wonderful keepsake. As the artist and copyright holder, I retain all rights to reproduce the image for display purposes. I generally do not sell images of custom portraits to the general public. If your portrait is one that would have general appeal and be suitable for prints, I would of course ask your permission before selling. Your personal information would not be used in the image title or description to protect your privacy.
