At Crowley, supporting the communities where we live and work is part of who we are.

Recently, team members in Puerto Rico partnered with The Happy Givers NPO in Vega Baja, spending the day harvesting crops at the nonprofit's community farm. The produce helps support the foundation's Social Kitchen program, which provides providing healthy meals while creating opportunities that strengthen communities across the island.

Through partnerships like these, we're helping build stronger communities and giving employees meaningful ways to make a difference. We're proud of our Puerto Rico team for putting purpose into action. Because when we invest in our communities, good things grow.

Crowley Chief Mate Thor Pearson has been recognized with the 2026 Americas Courageous Leader Award by Shell USA’s Maritime Partners in Safety program, which brings maritime companies together to share best practices, strengthen safety performance and recognize actions that advance safety across the industry.

Thor earned this honor for his leadership during the 2025 incident in which the Crowley-managed tanker Stena Immaculate was struck by a containership in the North Sea. As the emergency quickly unfolded, his calm leadership, quick thinking and focus on his crew's safety helped ensure everyone evacuated safely and without serious injury. His steady coordination also helped limit further impacts to the vessel, its cargo and the surrounding environment.

It's a powerful reminder that safety is built long before an emergency occurs through training, teamwork, preparation and a commitment to looking out for one another.
Thank you, Thor, for your steady leadership and commitment to safety. Your actions reflect the professionalism and preparedness that help keep our crews, vessels and communities safe every day.

When mechanic Jason Weyland saw an opportunity to improve how motorcycles move through our operations at Crowley’s Jacksonville terminals, he spoke up.

Working together, our maintenance team transformed that idea into a retrofitted shipping container that allows motorcycles to be loaded directly into a dedicated container rather than being driven across the terminal before loading.

The result is a safer process that helps reduce exposure to potential hazards while supporting efficient operations. It's also a great example of how employee ideas can become real-world solutions when teams collaborate and take action.

At Crowley, empowering people to speak up is one of the ways we continue to advance safer operations every day.

We’re now launching a new weekly Gulf-Central America Express Service, connecting Port Houston with Santo Tomás de Castilla, Guatemala, and Puerto Cortés, Honduras.

With Thursday service in Houston starting in September, the liner vessels will transport dry and refrigerated containerized cargo, including fresh produce, apparel, consumer goods, industrial products and project cargo.

Supported by Crowley’s integrated ocean transportation, warehousing and inland logistics capabilities, the route is designed to provide shippers with faster transit, fewer supply chain handoffs and improved visibility between the U.S. Gulf and Central America.

This expansion builds on Crowley’s more than 65-year presence and integrated inland logistics network in Central America and the Caribbean.

Energy solutions delivered and possibilities expanded.

We recently completed our first containerized delivery of liquefied natural gas (LNG) in the U.S. Virgin Islands, transporting the LNG from Puerto Rico to our terminal in St. Croix.

This milestone reflects our commitment to advancing reliable, resilient and cleaner energy solutions that support customers and strengthen communities across the Caribbean. Together, we're helping keep essential energy moving where it's needed most.

When local firefighters needed help reaching a hillside fire near a waterfront park in Anacortes, Washington, our mariners aboard Crowley tug Response were ready to answer the call.
As firefighters worked from shore and the crew quickly mobilized and put the tug’s powerful fire monitor to work, providing approximately 3,600 gallons of water per minute to help contain the fire.

This successful response reflects the skill, readiness and commitment of our mariners, as well as the strong partnerships we build in the communities where we operate. Because safety isn't just a priority. It's how we work, every day.

Today, we join others across the maritime community in celebrating the U.S. Coast Guard's 236th birthday.

For more than two centuries, Coast Guard members have safeguarded our waterways, responded when communities needed help and ensured the safe movement of commerce across our nation's waters.

Congratulations on this remarkable milestone, and thank you for your continued service and commitment.

When faced with an extraordinary challenge, the captain and crew of the Stena Immaculate demonstrated extraordinary courage.

The International Maritime Organization - IMO has recognized the crew with a Certificate of Commendation through its 2026 IMO Honours for Exceptional Bravery at Sea program, following their response to the North Sea incident. The honor recognizes acts of extraordinary bravery under challenging conditions.

Amid fire, smoke and escalating danger, the crew acted with professionalism, teamwork and determination to protect one another and help minimize further loss of the vessel and cargo. Guided by a safety-first mindset, they worked to protect lives while helping reduce environmental impacts under extremely challenging circumstances.

Their actions exemplify the best of the maritime industry and the values that guide our company every day.
