We have not 1️⃣ not 2️⃣ but 3️⃣ Guinea Pigs at our shelter!

These boys all did life together, but they are fine being adopted separately 🧡

Guinea Pigs make wonderful pets. These guys already have so much personality once they got comfortable here. They make adorable little squeaks for food and love attention.

Also, google “popcorning” and guinea pigs! It’s extreme cuteness. 🥹

Please share and let’s find these boys a home!🏠

🐾 A second chance, thanks to The Rusty’s Fund 🐾

This sweet little kitten recently came into our care after suffering a serious eye injury. His eye was scratched so badly that, despite our best efforts, it needed to be surgically removed. 💔

Thankfully, he is now recovering and on his way to a much brighter future. ❤️

We are incredibly grateful for a private donor who generously supports the cats at Amador County Animal Control through The Rusty’s Fund. Their kindness helps make critical medical care possible for cats and kittens who need a little extra help.

But there are so many more animals who need us. 🐱🐾

You can help make a difference, too! Donations to The Rusty’s Fund help provide medical care, surgeries, medications, and other necessities for the cats in our shelter.

Every donation, no matter the size, can help give an animal the second chance they deserve. ❤️

Thank you for helping us care for the animals who need us most. 🐾❤️

A big thank you to South Main Veterinary Hospital for helping this baby!

Adopt Rogue🩷

We had SO MANY people asking to adopt her and yet here she is waiting!

Rogue is adorable and has a very sweet personality. She is about 3 months old, spayed microchipped and has started her puppy vaccines.

She loves to be cuddled and is learning to walk on a leash (but no public places since she is still not fully vaccinated!)

Her adoption fee is $300

We are open to the public Tuesday through Saturday from 10am to 4:30pm (closed from 1 to 2 for lunch)
