Had a fantastic weekend at Lazy Bear Ranch in Weiser, Idaho attending George DeCosta’s “Train the Trainer” seminar. I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to learn from someone with so much experience and insight. There was a ton of valuable information shared — from foundational training concepts to the finer details that help bring out the best in our dogs.
One of the highlights was being surrounded by such a great group of dog owners and some truly impressive Griffons. It was inspiring to see everything from talented hunting dogs to NAVHDA NA Prize I performers, Utility-level dogs, and even some potential VC candidates. Seeing that range really highlights the versatility and capability of this incredible breed.
Gypsy and I came home with new ideas, renewed motivation, and a deeper appreciation for the Griffon community. Always thankful for opportunities like this to keep learning and improving as we continue building Salt City Griffons.
