Construction on the Signia by Hilton Hotel is scheduled to finish by Dec. 9, making it the tallest hotel in Indianapolis. The 38-story, 800-room hotel will serve as the anchor for a $710 million expansion of the Indiana Convention Center and Lucas Oil Stadium.

The resort during the day was beautiful… but at night? Completely different vibe. 😍

The lights, the palm trees, the water, the music in the background… everything just felt different once the sun went down.

And one thing I really enjoyed about this solo trip was being able to slow down and actually take it all in. No rushing. No trying to figure out what everybody else wanted to do. Just enjoying where I was.

Sometimes the best part of a vacation isn’t an excursion or something you planned months in advance.

Sometimes it’s just walking around the resort at night thinking, “Dang… I’m really here.”

And yes, I absolutely recommend taking a trip. Even if you have to take it by yourself. 😉

A Miami federal jury awarded $300,000 to Diana Sanders, 45, who sued Carnival Corporation after being served at least 14 tequila shots in under nine hours aboard the Carnival Radiance in January 2024. The jury found Carnival 60% liable for her severe injuries from a drunken fall. The rare verdict, which exceeded the $250,000 sought, highlights dangers of overserving and all-inclusive drink packages.
