Day 6 brought us to one of Namibia’s most iconic wildlife destinations: Etosha National Park.

Centred around the vast Etosha Pan, this incredible landscape is home to an abundance of wildlife, with waterholes offering some of the best opportunities to see animals in their natural habitat.

And then there were the elephants.

There’s something special about sharing a moment with these incredible animals in the wild. Watching them move through the landscape, completely at home in their surroundings, was a highlight of the journey so far.

Day 5 had a few challenges of its own. Trailer trouble put us a little bit behind schedule, but with a bit of teamwork and a helping hand from some awesome locals, we were soon back on the road towards Khowarib Lodge.

Along the way, we spotted giraffes right beside our route and stopped to refuel at one of those tiny roadside fuel stops that make a journey like this even more memorable.

Day 4 took us deeper into the rugged landscapes of Namibia, making our way towards Brandberg White Lady Lodge, a little oasis tucked beneath the Brandberg Mountain and along the Ugab River.

The road had a few surprises for us too. Heavy sand brought the journey to a temporary halt when our support vehicle got stuck. But that’s all part of it.

Never a dull moment on tour.

With spirits still high, we were soon back on the road and heading towards the lodge.

By the evening, it was time to slow things down, cool off by the pool and make a new friend along the way, a very cool little meerkat.

Another day on the road and another story to tell.

Day 3 took us deeper into Namibia, on the road towards the incredible Kaokoland region.

Along the way, the landscape became something else entirely, vast, barren and almost otherworldly, with stretches that looked more like the surface of the moon than anything on Earth.

And this was only the road in.

We can’t wait to show you what incredible landscapes were waiting for us further ahead.

DAY 2 — THE SKELETON COAST

After Dune 7, we turned north and followed the coastline into the wild.

The landscape changes pretty quickly out here, endless sand, cold Atlantic air and very little in between.

We passed the Zeila, a fishing trawler that ran aground in 2008 and has remained stranded on the coast ever since.

A pretty surreal sight in the middle of all that open space.

DAY 1

The road out of Windhoek led us west.

Across the vast landscapes of Namibia, over the stunning Bausau Pass, and towards a place where the desert meets the Atlantic.

The further we went, the wilder it became.

Our destination: Walvis Bay.

The dunes are waiting.

When we headed into Northern Namibia for our latest T3M adventure, the team at made custom jackets for our crew.

Eleven days. Kaokoland. Dirt, dust, rocks, deep sand, long days and some of the most remote riding Namibia has to offer.

They came back with a little more dust on them — and a hell of a story.

Thank you MIRA for being a small part of a very special trip.

South African made. Namibia tested.
