Join the Greater Houston Port Bureau's “Women in Maritime Happy Hour” event on November 17, 4:30 – 6:30 PM at the Houston International Seafarers Centers, Inc. with guest speaker, Dana Blume, executive director.

Dana Blume has been executive director for the Houston International Seafarers Center ("HISC") since 2017. The HISC is a ‘home away from home’ for seafarers visiting the Houston port by meeting their spiritual, social and physical needs through support, assistance and fellowship. They visit ships 7 days a week, 365 days a year, securing resources for transportation, various communication service tools, building relationships and providing a safe harbor for all seafarers.

C/PA was proud to participate in the Seafarer Christmas Shoebox Program this Christmas season! Each year, the Houston International Seafarers Center distributes 8,000-11,000 shoeboxes filled with essential items to seafarers visiting the Port of Houston. The boxes were personally delivered to ships by Seafarers Center Chaplains, ship visitors and staff.

Tuesday, July 9, 2024, 3:16 PM Weather Update

Port Houston terminals will be resuming operations at our normal start time tomorrow (Wednesday, July 10, 2024), and will be offering extended gate hours for our customers at our container terminals.

Please see the below container terminals gate hours for the rest of the week:
Wednesday, July 10, 2024: 6:00 AM – 8:00 PM (Ingate closes at 7:00 PM)
Thursday, July 11, 2024: 6:00 AM – 8:00 PM (Ingate closes at 7:00 PM)
Friday, July 12, 2024: 6:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Ingate closes at 6:00 PM)
Saturday, July 13, 2024: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Ingate closes at 4:00 PM)

Important Notes:
Import Free time will be extended to the ocean carriers – any free time questions should be directed to the ocean carrier.

Please monitor ERD/Cutoffs closely
OOG/Reefers will not be processed after 5:00 PM

Monday, July 8, 2024, 12:15 PM Weather Update:

Terminal operations will continue to be suspended for the day and for tomorrow morning as we prepare the terminal to resume operations. We are continuing to evaluate the possibility of an afternoon start to operations tomorrow. We will have a further update at 4 PM this afternoon after we are able to conduct a more thorough assessment of our systems and facilities.
