Alexandria, Egypt is the former home of one of the Ancient Seven Wonders of the World. The Lighthouse (aka Pharos) of Alexandria was a massively tall structure that unfortunately was destroyed by Earthquakes many years ago. Today you can see see pieces of this great structure.
