Happy New Year!
Another interesting story, sort of... Global leader in asian foods contacts me from an email I sent in September. My dad and I delivered to their Houston location several times when were starting out in the late '90s, so I never forget who they are. Customer is totally unhappy with their big name LTL refrigerated carrier. They ask for a quote to p/u 7 pallets of yellowtail, aka Hamachi sushi, from Houston and deliver to their Los Angeles headquarters. Quote sent and quote accepted quickly. It's not a super rush deal, but it's important to us that we get this done right. The sushi must be in LA by January 2. Everyone wants to be home for the holidays, but we have guys willing to work. We pick up on 1/30 for delivery on 1/2. Load delivered on time and on temperature. That's the way we do it every single time. If you need anything, call us!
