Royal Caribbean + Sandals Resort = 🎉🎉🎉

Royal Caribbean Group and Sandals Resorts have sealed a landmark 50-50 partnership, ending speculation that the global cruise giant would acquire majority ownership of the Jamaica-born resort company. The agreement, confirmed last night after a day of intense market speculation, will see Royal Caribbean invest approximately US$3 billion for a 50 per cent equity interest in Sandals and Beaches Resorts.

Enjoyed a fabulous and relaxing time at Royalton Negril this past week.
I needed to clear my head and get some much needed rest and my husband needed a getaway for his birthday. Negril, Jamaica is always the perfect option for me/us.

Our hostess at Royalton was Amoy Miller.
She has taken care of us at Royalton during the past five years and is one of the reasons we always return. Very professional and articulate, she gives us ‘royal’ service no matter how many times we visit.

We had a Diamond Club Luxury Ocean View Suite in the Chairman’s Building. Our butlers were very attentive and provided great service. The Chairman’s Building offers Two, Three and Four Bedroom accommodations and is perfect for those seeking an upscale experience.

After Hurricane Melissa damaged the resort last October, the resort was closed for renovations and reopened in August. We were pleased with the upgrades. There will be more enhancements to many of the suites.
We were happy to see two additional employees we met five years ago were still employed at Royalton - Barbara (Beach Bar Staff) and Nibert (General Groundsman).
Most of the other employees sought employment elsewhere when the resort was closed from October 2025 - August 2026 for renovations and repairs.

We left the resort and went to the West End to visit three of our friends.
Overall - as always - we had a good time.

This will be the first time Dallas County Passport office offers a remote location outside of Dallas.

This is huge! Im so grateful for Honorable Felecia Pitre for talking my call and idea to bring Dallas county to the Best Southwest.

Thank you to our Library staff for embracing this and working collaboratively on this initiative.

We have the chance to pick up a ton of school furniture in Houston Texas 🙌 and drive it to Minneapolis to be able to then ship it in our container to Jamaica 🇯🇲 We are looking at a 1200 mile drive and to cover our expenses like flights to Houston from Minneapolis which are $212 each, we figure it will be 185 gallons of gas at $3.75 a gallon which would be $693.75 and the Truck Rental with Insurance cost us $2755.17 so we are looking at a total of $3872.92 and we will cover our own hotels and food!! To do this we are asking people to sponsor a mile for $3.50 and we need to have people sponsor a total of 1106 miles total!
