Escape the heavily trafficked mega-resorts and explore Mexico's most spectacular secret spots, ranging from surreal jungle sculpture gardens and cliffside hot springs to remote, crystal-clear coastal lagoons.
1. Las Pozas, Xilitla (San Luis Potosí): Concealed deep in the subtropical jungle of the Huasteca Potosina region, this surrealist sculpture garden was built by eccentric English poet Edward James.
