BUNCH O BALLOONS

Great summer investment. This simple child led activity is best for ages 4+. My 9 year old helped attach and fill up the balloons. My 5 & 7 year old enjoyed sorting, counting and describing. We also did addition and subtraction word problems, all while having a water balloon fight! Enjoy your time with the little ones, as they aren’t little for too long ❤️

Thanks to all those who came out to our Nature Schools letterbox hike! Here is posted clues for our letterbox. Please share with friends and family who’d be interested in a super easy hike & fun letterbox surprise at an awesome park!

Friendly hiking tips and suggestions for this letterbox hike:

1. Be sure to wear closed-toed shoes.
2. Print out and take with you, the picture and steps to help you find the letterbox more easily.
3. Bring with you a small notepad, stamp and ink pad. Stamp the book that’s in the letterbox with your name, date and stamp. Make sure to stamp your notebook with the stamp that’s in the letterbox and be sure to write down date and location (butterfly garden north brunswick community park) of the letterbox.

This fidgety love of my life wanted her learning pod on the couch. So we did exactly that. Next time I’ll be adding a fidget spinner and mini kooosh balls to help with those busy fingers during mini lessons.

We were shopping around for that “perfect” chair/table/desk combo to get the school year started. Then I thought, why not let them choose where & how they want to sit! At least that way they can be as relaxed or formal as they’d like since our completely remote COVID school year is completely out of the norm for them. As is everything else in their little world. Stay strong y’all 💪🏼
