What do you do when one of your favorite authors is in your town? Like just a 'quick' 45-minute drive on a Thursday afternoon?

Was there a BIT early. Got to see the Becker family pull up and unload their vehicle. Then enjoyed an hour hearing Joshua Becker speak about his Uncluttered Faith book.

And if you have ever followed Joshua Becker, , you've heard the story about how he got into minimalism and it has to do with his 5 year son. Now that son is all grown up and behind the microphone helping his dad!

Was first in line to get my book autographed. And was even able to get a photo of Becker's lovely wife, Kim, with their son!

Thanks so much to Hope Church in Westerville for facilitating the Columbus stop on the 29-city tour!

WHEW! What a fun-filled weekend! And NOW we are officially in JUNE!!!

How did that happen?

* Latte Joy Stampers SILVER Leaders Event. This is something I do TWICE a year with my Silver Leaders. They need to maintain their title requirements from Stampin' Up! each March and September. Then about a month or so later, we meet up and they are spoiled, just a little bit, by me!! This time, we completed a really cute class! I posed with the cards. Which one is YOUR favorite? I like all of them!
* After our Silver Leaders Event, we met with a few other Latte Joy Stampers TEAM MEMBERS at Smash Daddy's Burgers and Fries in Harrisburg, Ohio. (Due to a miscommunication, one team member was unable to meet with us. :( ) Gotta tell you. If you are looking for a VERY flavorful burger - THIS is the place! Seating is limited, but you can see we made it work for us!
* AND - spoiler alert... You MAY see a Facebook Live HERE on Tuesdays. I'm still working on my schedule, but June 2nd's should be between 7a-9a. It's gonna depend on traffic, since I have an early morning appointment!
* One more spoiler! Hmmm... Christmas is coming in a few months. And many of you had previously attended my Christmas in July classes. I'm a-thinking it's time for those to return. Make sure you are on my email list (or watch my blog), for more information!

Check out these two cuties!!! Dario and Alfie - both available at the Franklin County Dog Shelter & Adoption Center. I was able to walk with both of them yesterday and today.

Such absolute sweethearts!!!! If Hubs AND Hobbes would be agreeable, I think we would be a THREE-dawg family!!!

Both knew sit and were fantabulous on the lead. Both are underweight so that just means more lovin' with them!!!

Go check 'em out!! They also had a really cute chihuahua named Pickles!

Stay dry and grab a cup of coffee or soda. There's some upcoming information listed below!

It is POURING here in Central Ohio. Thankfully, I was able to mow yesterday BEFORE the rain sprinkles arrived!!

On the plus side, all this raining means - I cannot do the remainder of my yardwork. What to do? What to do?

HAHAHAHAHAH!!! I almost typed that with a straight face!

You KNOW what I'm going to do - CRAFT!!! (AND listen to a book on CD - does anyone else do that?)

Went to a retreat over the weekend and am working on those designs. As always, I change up the designs and make them my own. The LOVE YOU card will be for Hubs. I'm thinking his birthday card. What do you think?

Been busy and then, of course, got a bit under the weather. Had to cancel breakfast with some girlfriends AND put my monthly class on hold!

Yeah... Ear AND sinus infection and, because I've been sick, been sleeping on and off during the day.

THIS! This is what my wonderful friend (and next door neighbor) Monica brought over to me! How ever did she know that I would like cake donuts with sprinkles?!

She was a nurse before she retired. I'm guessing she knew my meds say that I need to have some food with the meds to prevent stomach upset. Once a nurse, ALWAYS a nurse! ❤️👩‍⚕️ Oh - and I enjoy going out with her and her Hubs for coffee and donuts, so there's that too! 🤣

So... don't you just love when neighbors are more like family and dear friends? DEFINITELY abundantly blessed!
