A very generous and meaningful donation of $5,101 was given by Eastern Armored Services Owner & CEO J. Richard Norton to Fish, Inc. today - $5,000 on behalf of his company and $101 in recognition of his military service in the Vietnam War with the U.S. Army 101st Airborne Division. From left-to-right: Ms. Lisa Semple of TD Bank, Mr. Norton, Fish, Inc. Executive Director Lisa Couch, Mayor Brian C. Wahler and Fish, Inc. volunteer Mr. Richard Hoynes.
After a devastating fire that destroyed the First Baptist Church of New Market facility for the longtime Piscataway food pantry, food distribution recommenced in its parking lot as a drive-through only process with emergency boxes provided by The Community FoodBank of New Jersey.
Fish, Inc. hopes to continue its regular distribution schedule of Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, all weather permitting. However, please follow the Fish, Inc. page and its website for up-to-date information including any schedule changes: https://www.fishdunellenarea.org/
To provide a monetary donation, please mail a check to Fish, Inc. at P.O. Box 8565, Piscataway, NJ, 08855 or visit its GoFundMe site: https://www.gofundme.com/f/fish-inc-dunellen-fire-recovery
Well-meaning residents who wish to donate food are asked to please wait until a site for storage can be operational. The Township Council approved recently an agreement to establish a municipal facility that can be retrofitted as a temporary food storage site for Fish, Inc.
