The water is 58 degrees in the Gulfport municipal Marina. I added a 3 mm vest to my wetsuit and a second 2.5 mm hood. That helps a ton. It is very peaceful down here.

Did a cleaning today in a bayou near Bay Saint Louis.

When I slipped into the water, I watched to make sure nothing else slipped in.

One pic is yours truly. Another is the rudder. The third is the hull near the stern.

I was able to clean the barnacles pretty well with my sharpened paint tool. But it seems like something with a little more heft would have been nice to have.

I went through two tanks of air on this boat. Wore me out pretty good. I think I might need to hit the gym.

Pretty hard to see in these murky waters. The growth on the hull wasn’t super horrible, the running gear is covered with barnacles and the cutlass bearing is shot. Listen with sound on to hear cutlass bearing.
