Kitchen Construction Update!

Things are really starting to take shape! Our new Meals on Wheels commercial kitchen is officially being framed, with the trusses up and walls beginning to go in. 🏠

It’s exciting to watch this project move from plans on paper to a building that will help us continue serving seniors across our four-county area for years to come.

We’re building more than a kitchen — we’re building the future of Meals on Wheels in our community.❤️

Looking for a Holiday Outreach Project in your community?
We have an option for you…

Piedmont Agency on Aging is reaching out to local groups and churches in our community for help with our annual Holiday Bags of Love gift bag project for Meals on Wheels.

Gift bags will be assembled for seniors receiving Meals on Wheels in our four-county serving area. Communities reached will be Greenwood, Abbeville, Saluda, Ninety-Six, Promised Land, Hodges, Ware Shoals, Due West, Donalds, Calhoun Falls, Clinton, Laurens, Cross Hill, Gray Court, Joanna, Mountville, Waterloo, Hickory Tavern & Kinards.

Our new Meals on Wheels kitchen is taking shape!

The framing is going up, and we are getting closer every day to seeing our new commercial kitchen become a reality!

This project is about so much more than a building. It’s about creating the space we need to prepare more meals, serve our growing number of seniors, and continue providing nutritious meals and a friendly connection to homebound seniors across our four-county service area.

After years of planning, fundraising, and hard work, it is exciting to see the vision literally taking shape before our eyes!

Thank you to everyone who has supported this project along the way. Every donation, grant, volunteer hour, and word of encouragement has helped us get here.

The walls are going up — and so is our capacity to serve!
