Great News!!! Queue Electronic Detection K9 has some help to fight children's crime in South Carolina.
Thanks to a collaboration of many kind-hearted individuals and companies, Defenders for Children has successfully donated, South Carolina's second Electronic Detection K9 to the Richland County Sheriff's Department to help fight crimes against children, human trafficking and the potential rescue of many children.
We are excited to have Senior Investigator, Cassie Radford of Richland County Sheriff’s Department, as the handler for Oakley. She is an amazing woman who is ready for the challenge to locate hidden electronic devices, to stop the offenders, traffickers, and pedophiles who are hurting innocent children.
We are also blessed to have an excellent Electronic Detection K9 Trainer, Kerry Halligan with Matrix K9, training the K9 donated by Defenders For Children. Kerry Halligan, Matrix K9 was part of the original Connecticut State Police team that created the first Electronic Detection K9 training regimen. Kerry’s talent as a trainer and passion for saving children have been a huge benefit to the program and our goal to place eight Electronic Detection K9’s with South Carolina Law Enforcement Agencies.
Note: The third Electronic Detection K9 will be announced in December.
