DOT compliance refers to successfully meeting the requirements of the U.S. Department of Transportation, the federal agency that enforces rules (DOT regulations) governing the operation of commercial motor vehicles. Failure to be DOT compliant results in a violation of these rules. Violators are subject to sanctions that can include financial penalties (fines), suspension of a company’s permission to operate its commercial vehicle fleet, or jail time.

Early in the transportation industry, I reached out to an individual seeking assistance in how to get our hotshot truck on the port to pull containers. This individual has been in the game for over 10+ years AND has their semi’s involved with the port AND told me hotshots don’t pull from the port!!! Well I knew that to be incorrect information!!

I continued to dig and spoke to another individual and she informed me the information I got from that other individual was wrong and that it was sad the same individual was sharing wrong information.

BMH has been running port loads for months now and has been blessed! I’m excited about us. being a government contractor now because that opens more doors for the business! 🙏🏽🙌🏽💪🏽

BMH hauls ISO tanks to military bases as well! This single load paid us very well!

I enjoy building relationships where the money resides! I’ve booked us loads for the week from brokers reaching out to me directly to haul their freight!

Networking and relationships is key in this industry!!
