Road trip stop! 🏮

If you’re heading through Redding, the Lantern Festival at Turtle Bay Exploration Park is worth a visit. We stopped during an overnight stay at Gaia Hotel & Spa and enjoyed seeing the displays during the day. I’m sure they’re absolutely magical when lit up at night.

Looking for a fun summer evening adventure? 🏮

Take the short drive to Redding and experience the Lantern Festival at Turtle Bay Exploration Park, inside the McConnel Botanical Gardens now through June 28 from 7–10 PM.

We happened to visit during the day while on a road trip, and it was beautiful. I can only imagine how spectacular it must be when the lanterns are glowing after dark!

Took a road trip last week. Thought I would share a few shots of The Ahwahnee Hotel. opened in 1927. It truly is a grand hotel.
