Courageous Kids upcoming event! A few weeks ago, I was honored to represent firefighters at a climbing event for special needs children. It was an incredibly rewarding experience. Courageous Kids organizes and sponsors these worthwhile events all over the west coast. If you get an opportunity to attend this upcoming event in Boise, I would highly encourage it! The event will take place at The Wings Center, 1875 Century Way, Boise, ID 83709 on May 7th. For my Firefighter and Paramedic brothers and sister, this will recharge you and help "empty your bucket", as well as teach you a bit about interfacing with special needs kids.
