🚲 Veo is *officially* the city’s new shared micromobility provider. Veo devices will be available to the public starting September 1! 🛴

Why Veo?

🤑 Lower prices: $1 to unlock and $0.33/min after that.
💸 Membership programs: Veo Access and Veo Plus add daily free minutes and discounts for eligible riders!
🛵 More ways to ride: Expect seated scooters, throttle assist e‑bikes, standing scooters, self‑balancing trikes, plus free adaptive attachments for manual wheelchairs.
🦺 Safety first: Up to 50% of the fleet will feature forward‑scanning radar to reduce crashes and curb sidewalk riding.
🅿️ Better parking: Riders will use Tap‑to‑End‑Trip pads located in Designated Parking Zones!

Shared micromobility remains an essential transportation resource for our City! 🤩.

🗣️ REMINDER: Our 1st community input session is happening TONIGHT from 5:30–8:00 p.m. at the Center for Community Transformation (1530 Madison Ave SE)!

🚌 Mobile GR wants to hear from you about how we should invest funds to improve transit access in Grand Rapids.
🤑 We’ll explore a few potential investment ideas in structured group discussions, talk through benefits and trade-offs, and give participants the chance to help prioritize what matters most.
🤝 Your feedback will help shape Mobile GR's transit access budget for next year.

E-scooters and e-bikes are so much fun to ride, but they are more fun when we practice safety and look out for ourselves and our community!

🙋 Riders must be 18+ to ride.
🛴 Only 1 person per vehicle.
🛣️ Stick to bike lanes! Riding on sidewalks and highways present danger to pedestrians and motorists.

Heads up Grand Rapids - a month-long street closure near the Zoo begins on Monday! Here are all the details 👇

🚧 Eastbound Fulton Street W. from Lake Michigan Drive to Garfield Avenue will be closed starting Monday, 8/10
🚦 The road will be open to local traffic for businesses including the Zoo, Rise Authentic Baking Co., Ball Park Floral, and local residences
💧 The closure is related to an important water main replacement on Garfield Avenue
🦒 Local businesses, including the John Ball Zoo, will still be open
🚘 Check below for an easy detour route
