Women's Council of Realtors Lakeshore

10/09/2026

Thank you to everyone who joined us bright and early this morning for our Business for Breakfast! ☕️

We had a great discussion moderated by Amy Taylor from Michigan Realtors with State Representative Nancy DeBoer and State Representative Luke Meerman.

The conversation covered Michigan’s housing shortage, rising construction costs, zoning and building regulations, property-tax reform, local control, and the opportunities and concerns surrounding data centers.

It may have been early, but it was definitely worth it! 😊

What a GREAT day of leadership, learning, and collaboration! 💙💛

Yesterday, we attended the 2027 Women’s Council of REALTORS® Michigan Leadership Day, hosted by our incoming 2027 State Leadership Team!

It was an amazing opportunity to connect with incoming board members from networks across Michigan, share ideas, learn from one another, and start planning for an incredible 2027!

One of the best things about Women’s Council is the relationships we build and the opportunity to grow together as leaders. There is so much knowledge, passion, and excitement in this group!

A huge THANK YOU to our incoming State Leadership Team for putting together such a wonderful day!

We are excited to bring fresh ideas, new energy, and great things back to our Lakeshore Network in 2027! 🎉
