Long week wrapping up with a mix of road plates, trench support materials, and jobsite deliveries across the Valley.

Some loads are straightforward. Others take a little more planning, securement, and coordination to get done safely and efficiently.

Going to take a few days out of town to recharge and reset before getting back after it next week.

Some loads are straightforward. Others take a little more planning.

Today started with multiple runs moving road plates, then shifted into more technical trench system loads with different securement requirements and trailer configurations.

That variety is one of the things I enjoy most about this work. Different freight, different challenges, same focus on getting it there safely and correctly.

Not every day is oversized equipment and complicated reloads.

Some days it’s road plates, speed shores, and multiple trips keeping materials moving where they need to be. Consistency and reliability matter just as much as the bigger jobs.

Sometimes the job changes after the delivery is already on site.
Today ended up being 5 loads total after a trench box configuration needed to be revised once it reached the project. Instead of the job waiting, we swapped the setup out and kept things moving.

That’s part of transport work that people don’t always see — adapting quickly when field conditions change and helping keep projects on schedule.

A good Monday is when the trailer sees different kinds of work in the same day.

Today’s loads included two different types of trench safety materials — two different jobs, two different loading situations, same focus on securement and getting it there safely.

One thing I enjoy about this line of work is that the type of load varies. Different freight means different planning, weight distribution, securement, and timing every day.
