Postcard Series #4
We were so lucky to visit the Smokies last fall as the leaves were turning colors. š We spent a lot of time in this area just soaking up the views while we could. I remember driving the winding roads for hours on end and wanting to capture every single angle. Thatās how incredible the colors were.
We also spent a day in Gatlinburg and itās one of my favorite memories. We parked the van at the visitors center and took the trolley into town (for only 50 cents if I remember correctly?!) The town was completely decorated for Halloween. There were scarecrows and pumpkins š EVERYWHERE and it seemed like everyone was in a festive mood.
The best part of our time spent in the Smokies was when we met up with our friends from back home. Together, we got to hike to some incredible overlooks and explore all kinds of new places together⦠memories I am cherishing extra hard today. ā¤ļø
