THE REAL STORY BEHIND COOSA LIMOUSINE ❤️
I think sometimes people see a limousine business and imagine there’s a big company behind it. A fleet of beautiful, brand new vehicles, a staff of people, and plenty of money to make everything perfect.
That’s not us.
Coosa Limousine started from literally nothing but a loan, a dream, and a whole lot of faith.
My husband actually bought the limousines to give me an opportunity. I own Coosa Limousine, and this business has become something I can pour myself into and hopefully build into something meaningful for our family.
We are an average family of seven, raising five kids. We have one in 1st grade, two in 6th grade, one in 8th grade, and one in 9th grade.
I have health problems that prevent me from working a traditional job, so I’m home. That doesn’t mean I don’t want to contribute to my family or that I don’t want to work. It just means I have to find a different way to do it.
Coosa Limousine became that opportunity for me.
I can do the messages, scheduling, planning, decorating, cleaning, organizing, talking with customers, and all the behind the scenes things from home.
My husband is a welder. He also delivers Amazon packages and does maintenance work on the side for my mom’s pool store. Between the two of us, we do whatever we have to do to keep our family moving forward.
And we’re raising five kids along the way.
And just to be completely transparent, we aren’t making money from Coosa Limousine yet.
Anything the business brings in goes right back into the business. Repairs, maintenance, insurance, fuel, supplies, cleaning, and everything else that comes with keeping these limousines on the road.
We’re building this slowly, one step at a time.
So no, this isn’t a business we started because we had money to burn.
My husband took a chance on me, and I took a chance on myself.
And truthfully, there have probably been at least 100 times I’ve wanted to throw in the towel.
I’m not exaggerating.
There have been breakdowns, unexpected expenses, stressful phone calls, and plenty of moments where I’ve wondered what in the world I got myself into.
It’s not easy.
But every time I think about giving up, I remember why I started.
The limousines we have today have been through multiple owners before they ever became ours. They have miles on them. They’ve had a life. They aren’t brand new, and they aren’t perfect.
And just like any other vehicle, sometimes things go wrong.
We’ve had a battery die while our clients were inside a restaurant. We had it serviced and taken care of before they were finished eating and ready to leave.
We’ve had one limousine refuse to start just two hours before a scheduled job. We used every resource we had to get it on the road and prepared the other limousine as a backup because our customers still deserved to have their night happen.
Our limousines are routinely serviced and maintained, but these are large vehicles that have seen many miles and hopefully will see many more.
They’re not mint condition.
And I’m not going to pretend they are.
But here’s what I will promise.
I care.
I care a whole lot.
I have big plans for these limousines. I have ideas for cosmetic improvements, upgrades, and all the little touches that I know will eventually make Coosa Limousine look the way I envision it.
That just takes time.
The big payoff doesn’t happen overnight.
So until we get there, I’m going to do what I can with what I have.
I’m going to clean them until they shine.
I’m going to make them look as good as I possibly can.
I’m going to keep them maintained.
I’m going to put thought into the little details.
I’m going to answer the messages.
I’m going to talk to my customers.
I’m going to get excited about their celebrations.
I’m going to listen to what they want.
And I’m going to treat every person who contacts me with kindness and respect.
Because honestly, the people are my favorite part of this.
I may not be able to give every customer a brand new limousine or every upgrade I dream about just yet, but I can give them my attention, my effort, my kindness, and my desire to make their experience special.
I’m doing the best I can to leave a lasting impression.
Behind Coosa Limousine isn’t a corporation.
It’s a family.
It’s a husband who works several jobs and believed enough in me to buy these limousines and give me this opportunity.
It’s five kids with school, homework, sports, activities, and all the craziness that comes with raising a family.
It’s a mom with health problems doing what she can from home to build something of her own.
It’s two well loved limousines.
It’s a loan.
It’s a dream.
It’s a lot of hard work.
It’s figuring things out when things don’t go according to plan.
It’s celebrating the wins.
It’s fixing the problems.
It’s sometimes wanting to give up.
And then deciding to try one more time.
I don’t expect everyone to understand what it takes to build something from nothing.
But I do want people to know that when you book with Coosa Limousine, you’re not booking with some giant company where you’re just another reservation number.
You’re dealing with me.
You’re supporting my family.
And you’re helping me build something that, God willing, will eventually become something lasting for our family.
I just believe that if you’re going to invite people to trust you with their special moments, they deserve to know the real people behind the business.
From the day I took this on in June 2025 until the day these limousines finally give up on me, or God willing, until that loan is paid off three years from now, I’m going to keep doing exactly what I’m capable of doing. My absolute best.
I may not have the newest vehicles.
I may not have everything figured out.
I may not be able to make every improvement I’d like to make right now.
But I can promise you that I will care.
I will communicate.
I will be honest.
I will work with what I have.
And I will go the extra mile whenever I’m able.
I’m not sharing this because I want anyone to feel sorry for us.
I’m sharing it because I want you to know who’s behind the name Coosa Limousine.
We’re just a family trying to build something.
And every single person who chooses us is a small part of that story.
Thank you for supporting my little dream. ❤️
