We loved getting out into the community today! 💙

Graceful Transitions had a wonderful time at Asbury Methodist Village, meeting future residents, families, and so many of the people and organizations that help make their community special.

We’re always grateful for the opportunity to talk about what we do, answer questions, and share how we can help make downsizing and moving into a new home a little less overwhelming. 📦🏡

A big thank you to Asbury Methodist Village for having us! We enjoyed meeting everyone who stopped by to say hello! 💙

🎉 They’re Back! 🎉

We’ve had so many people asking when our online auctions would return, and we’re excited to say they’re officially back!

We’re settling into our new location, and while we’re still getting everything up and running, we’re thrilled to be bringing you more great finds each week.

🛍️ Here’s how our weekly auctions work:

• Bidding opens Fridays at 7:00 PM
• Bidding closes Wednesdays at 7:00 PM
• Pickup is Friday from 9:00 AM–3:00 PM
• Monday is our only alternative pickup date. It must be requested and receive prior approval by Friday.

This is just the beginning! We have many more auctions and unique treasures coming your way! And a little shoutout is definitely deserved! 💙 Our auction and warehouse team has been working incredibly hard behind the scenes to get everything moved, organized, sorted and ready so we could get these auctions back up and running. If you see them when you come to pick up your treasures, be sure to say hi (or give them a little thank you!) They’ve earned it!

✨Team Member Tuesday! ✨

At Graceful Transitions, we know that it's the people behind the move who make all the difference. Every month, we're introducing you to one of the amazing team members who helps make each move a little less stressful and a lot more meaningful.

This month, meet Jen!

Jen has been with Graceful Transitions since 2015, starting as a packer, then becoming a team lead, and now serving as our Administrative/Office Manager since 2022.

What Jen loves most about her job is making people feel important, valued, and cared for, whether that's our clients or her coworkers. To her, the Graceful Transitions team is like family, and the work is deeply personal. In fact, Graceful Transitions helped her own family when her mother-in-law passed away, making the mission of our company even more meaningful.

While she used to love unpacking homes and seeing the joy on clients' faces when everything was perfectly set up, these days she takes pride in being one of the first voices our clients hear. From that very first phone call, Jen enjoys getting to know each person, learning their story, answering questions, and helping our entire team provide the most personalized experience possible.

Her #1 moving tip? 💬 If you're going to move, hire the best—Graceful Transitions! A dedicated team makes all the difference.

A few fun facts about Jen:
🍳 She loves spending weekends cooking and meal prepping for her family.
⚾ She's an Orioles fan.
🎬 Her favorite movie is Dirty Dancing* (and yes, she used to know every line!).
📺 Her favorite TV show is *Murder, She Wrote*.
🎵 Favorite artist: Walker Hayes.
🐶🐱 She loves both cats and dogs.
🏅 The most unusual thing she's ever discovered during a clear out was an Olympic torch that the client's family didn't even know they had!
🏡 If she could live anywhere, she'd buy a huge piece of land and invite all of her loved ones to build homes nearby.

And here's a fun (or maybe unbelievable!) fact: When Jen was 8 years old, her horse accidentally chopped off one of her toes! 😲

We're so grateful to have Jen as part of the Graceful Transitions family. Her compassion, dedication, and genuine care for both our clients and our team help make every move a little more graceful.

This week, we're excited to introduce you to Tajh, one of our incredible movers who's been part of the Graceful Transitions family for 6 years!

One of Tajh's favorite parts of the job is long-distance moves because every customer and every home have a story to tell. He loves getting to know people through the belongings they've collected over the years. It reminds us that every move is about so much more than boxes.
