This is one of the two medallions that was to be placed on the engines of the Hollywood Bomber after first flight. Instead of the Pratt and Whitney bird.
As the museum has pretty much shelved our several years long efforts these medallions have been gifted to the two artists that helped create them. Keith Miller and Gerald Asher.
Without whose help would have made the project much harder for me. There are only two of these medallions in the world and they’ve been gifted to the two people that deserve them the most. The two aviation artists that created it. Cheers!
