To the person who stole multiple bags of coffee off my rack at The Edison immediately after I restocked it:
Congratulations. You risked your dignity for coffee. ☕
Small businesses don’t have giant warehouses or endless inventory. Every bag is roasted, packed, and stocked by real people who actually give a damn.
If you were struggling and asked, I probably would’ve given you one.
Instead, you chose to steal.
Not rent money.
Not medicine.
Coffee.
The real ones know it’s worth paying for.
As for you, I hope every cup you brew tastes of guilt with notes of bitterness.
