Here’s another new Turbine Blades Modified Keychain from the Etsy! Ironically, the Chiefs play today and I get that little vibe with the colors here. Overwatch as the main color (darker and lighter grays with red and neon yellow) and Red & Maroon ZigZags along the edges. Black “falls” micro stitching for the center and a matte black, stainless steel O-ring for hardware!

Now for a Saja Boys vibe ✨

Of course I had to do this color combo to round out the Kpop Demon Hunters themed Dragon Egg Pouches/Coozies! The band’s collective pastel clothing during the performance of “Soda Pop” was the inspiration here with the specific cord colors being Salmon Pink, Mustard Yellow, Tropical Fish, and Boho.
🐟 Salmon Pink is one of the 2 solid colors in this combination. It has a bit of a coral tone to it while still remaining bright overall.
💛 Mustard Yellow has a slightly (what I consider) ashy undertone. It’s a little less bright than a standard yellow and once this particular shade is gone, I’ll have a darker/warmer color in its place.
🐠 Tropical Fish is an equal parts pattern cord with light blue, white, teal, and yellow.
🪻 Boho completes the combination with its mix of fuchsia, purple, light blue, and a cream-like shade.

One more Mini!☝🏻

Mini Dragon Egg Pouch, that is! This cutie reminds me much of a snowflake or snowball and I’m a bit obsessed! The specific colors used are Frost, Space Blue, and Wake.
❄️ Frost is the main white cord with accents of regular and light blues.
🌌 Space Blue is a beautiful solid blue that has just a bit of a darker teal undertone. It’s the perfect in-between shade from navy to dark teal!
🌊 Wake is one of the color shifting cords containing vertical stripes of a lighter, blueish-gray with specs of teal and a slightly vibrant royal blue.
And of course for “hardware” there’s an added plastic, cord lock button for cinching the pouch open and closed.

If Derpy is your favorite Kpop Demon Hunters character, then I’ve got just the thing for you! 🤪

This paracord drink coozie can also serve as a pouch or carrying bag, I call it my Dragon Egg Pouch/Coozie. But the color combination specifically is a perfect representation of Derpy. I chose colors Blue, Turquoise, Blue & Purple Spirals, and Fire & Ice.
💙 Blue is a pretty standard shade but slightly on the lighter side of a royal blue.
💠 Turquoise is the lightest color in the combo yet brings in a great vibrancy and contrast to the other blues, plus gives a nod to the dimensions of Derpy’s coat.
🌀 Blue & Purple Spirals is descriptive enough that you’d probably know what to expect but the spiral pattern has a bit of a pixelated design.
🔥 Fire & Ice was the perfect cord to fully encompass the colors of Derpy with the light and darker blues along with bits of red, orange, and yellow.
This is solely made from paracord, minus the plastic cord lock I’ve added to the top to be able to cinch the pouch closed more.

I missed the height of the hype 🙃

It took me a while to get around to watching Kpop Demon Hunters but when I did, I fell in love with all the vibrant colors. It’s made for great inspiration on a round of drink coozies, this one in particular was influenced by Rumi and the outfits worn in the “What It Sounds Like” performance. This is what I call my Dragon Egg Pouch/Coozie and the specific colors used are Purple, Pixel Noise, Uber Glow, and Saturn.
💜 Purple is a nicely saturated shade of purple with a little warm undertone. This cord was a must to give a representation to Rumi’s long, braided, and purple hair.
📺 Pixel Noise is a pixelated color with a blend of pinks, red, teal, blue, white, and silver. This color worked well to continue the purple/pink theme seen in the movie.
👻 Uber Glow is a white glow in the dark cord. I’m especially excited about this cord not only for its glowing nature but also that it comes from Atwood Rope and is the exact quality I expect. A glow cord is perfect in this combo to represent the glowing patterns and other lights within the scene of this movie.
🪐 Saturn is a a patterned cord with pretty equal parts of light pink, a mauve-like shade of pink, white, light blue, and light yellow. This color was specifically chosen to represent the prism-like glowing effect seen within the patterns on Rumi’s skin.

What life has looked like lately 👀

It’s been a while since checking in as the face behind the paracord! In January, we welcomed our son - officially making us a family of 4. Life as a mama of 2 now is absolutely more chaotic, demanding, and stressful at times but incredibly beautiful and fulfilling too.

I’ve been getting my hands on paracord projects where the time allows and that’s done some magic for me mentally. Touching base with the creative spark and bringing me back to who I am or what I can offer outside of motherhood. So while I may be rightfully slow in this season, I’m still here finding fulfillment in several ways.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! 🍀

What more appropriate than to showcase a Shamrock Macramé Coaster? Many times my projects come about because someone had asked if I can make XYZ and I responded, “ I haven’t but I can figure it out.” That’s half the fun, really, and I thank Rick for the nudge to make this piece. Made of all half hitches, this coaster used over 50 feet of cord! And of course I selected a green, Kelly Green to be specific.
🟢 Kelly Green has a slight cooler undertone vs. my standard green and this particular shade has an even slighter shein to it.

It’s worth a mention that my paracord coasters aren’t recommended for hot pots/pans as the cord will likely singe or melt but for drinks and other decor, they’re a great accent piece!
