🔥 Pretty Planter Class = COMPLETE SUCCESS! 🔥

Our crafters at the Bill Crisp Senior Center showed OUT today, turning aluminum cans into stylish, functional décor. The vibe was fun, the energy was amazing— every creation came out beautiful and totally unique. These Pretty Planters are headed home to brighten desks and windowsills all over Fayetteville. 💐

But listen… we’re not slowing down. Next month, we’re leveling up again. We will be turning ceramic tiles into custom, artsy coasters that make perfect gifts. A great handmade craft that can actually be used every day.

If you loved today’s class (or missed it), you’ll definitely want to grab a seat for the next one. SAVE THE DATE: Friday, October 16th at 2pm. Don't delay, seats are already filling for the next class. Let’s keep the creativity rolling! 🎨

Happy National Senior Citizens Day! 🎉 What an honor to have attended the Inaugural Seniors Day at the Bill Crisp Senior Center today; our hearts are still full. ❤️ The event celebrated the wisdom, joy, energy and beautiful legacy that our seniors continue to build.

The keynote speaker—Dr. Keith D. Tillett, Simon Temple AME Zion (Juanita’s Pastor), gave an inspiring message titled “You’re Never Too Old to Serve”.

The oldest senior present (age 93!) was honored with a special gift. A huge shout-out to our very own, Juanita, for winning a prize as the youngest senior on site -- it was the cherry on top! This is proof that you’re never too young or too old to show up, be present, and celebrate the journey. Here’s to living fully at every stage of life!

Our Scrap Your Legacy workshop at the Bill Crisp Senior Center was AMAZING! Everyone did such an incredible job — thoughtful layouts, meaningful moments, and so much heart went into each page. 💖 So proud of this group and the beautiful pages they made; it’s inspiring to watch creativity come alive in real time.

Our next class is coming up on September 11, 2026 from 12:00–1:30pm, where we’ll create a beautiful aluminum can craft that doubles as a planter or a stylish holder for office or beauty essentials.

This project would also make a great gift because it’s personal, thoughtful, eco-friendly, and handmade with love! 💝

🎉 We've got some wonderful news to share this 4th of July weekend!

Scrappy Card Sisters is honored to partner with the Bill Crisp Senior Center (BCSC) in Fayetteville, NC as the facilitator of their monthly Creative Workshop Series! 🎨

Over the past few months, we've had an absolute blast guiding participants as they brought their creativity to life — painting beautiful Spring Flowers in April, designing personalized Photo Board Keepsakes in May, and creating Patriotic Wreaths just in time to celebrate America's 250th birthday! 🎆

And we're keeping the good times rolling! Our next Creative Workshop will be held on July 17th, where participants will create a fun and functional No Sew Summer Tote; perfect for beach days, cookouts, and all your July adventures. We can't wait to see everyone's unique designs!
