Last month, Owner/Operator Jake Gardner had the privilege of graduating from the Leadership Harrison Class and being recognized at the Harrison County Chamber of Commerce’s 108th Annual Dinner.

One thing this experience reminded us of: business is about people.

At Country Roads Moving, we believe staying connected to our communities helps us better serve our customers and build stronger relationships throughout the region. Leadership Harrison gave me the opportunity to meet incredible leaders, learn more about Harrison County, and strengthen those community ties.

Country Roads Moving, LLC is growing, and we’re looking for hardworking, dependable people to join our crew! If you’re someone who enjoys physical work, being part of a strong team, and taking pride in a job well done — this could be a great opportunity for you.

📦 Positions Available:
• Drivers (box truck experience preferred)
Professional Movers

🔧 What You’ll Do:
• Safely load and unload household goods
• Wrap and protect furniture with moving blankets and shrink wrap
• Work with a team on residential and commercial moves
• Provide great customer service during every move

✅ What We’re Looking For:
• Ability to lift 75+ lbs repeatedly
• Reliable transportation to our dispatch center
• Strong work ethic and punctuality
• Moving or labor experience preferred but not required
• Valid driver’s license required for driver positions

💰 What We Offer:

🐾AURA HAS FOUND HER FOREVER HOME! 🐾

Last week, the team at Country Roads Moving LLC visited the Marion County Humane Society to donate moving blankets for the shelter animals.

While we were there, we met a sweet pup named Aura who instantly melted our hearts. She was kind, loving, and impossible not to adore.

We decided to sponsor Aura’s adoption fee to help her find the loving family she deserved… and we are so excited to announce that SHE HAS OFFICIALLY FOUND HER FOREVER HOME!

Moments like this remind us how important our local shelters are and how much of a difference a little kindness can make.

Thank you to everyone at the Marion County Humane Society for everything you do for these animals every single day. And congratulations to Aura and her new family on their new beginning together.

Our team lead, Jacob and his lovely Wife spent the day connecting with customers, meeting fellow local business owners, and building even stronger relationships with the incredible staff at Star Furniture. 💪🚚

Investing in the next generation is something we take seriously.

This week, Country Roads Moving LLC was proud to partner with Fairmont Federal Credit Union for the MAD CITY MONEY program — helping high school students build real-world financial skills and confidence for their futures.

Jake (Owner/Operator) and Jarod (Operations Coordinator) dedicated three full days working alongside more than 100 students as they navigated budgeting, expenses, decision-making, and financial responsibility.

Whether these students become homeowners, business owners, entrepreneurs, or community leaders, we’re proud to play a small role in helping prepare them for success.

Beautiful day on the course recently at the 2nd Annual Harrison County Association of Realtors Golf Scramble! ⛳️

Owner Jake Gardner had the opportunity to participate alongside an awesome group of brokers and realtors. We may have proudly secured 16th place 😂… but the real win was the networking, conversations, laughs, and connections made throughout the day.

Huge thank you to Laura with RATE for inviting me to play on their team and for the great company all afternoon!
