Deep in the heart of Kansas lies one of America’s most legendary roadside attractions: The Cawker City Giant Twine Ball!

What started on Christmas Eve in 1953 as a simple barn cleanup by a farmer named Frank Stoeber has turned into a massive, record-breaking community icon.

Today, this giant weighs an unbelievable 27,000+ pounds and spans over 40 feet in circumference!

The coolest part? It's still growing. Every August, the town hosts a "Twine-A-Thon" where travelers from all over the world can add their own length of twine to history.

Follow the painted twine line on the sidewalk and see it for yourself right along Highway 24!
